Rockwell: Dogwood Suite-Appartement-Salle de bain privée

The Dogwood Suite is located at The Rockwell Ridge Inn conveniently located off 151, next to Veritas Winery. This suite boasts luxurious accommodations with a king bed and updated bathroom with a clawfoot tub, skylight, and infinity shower. Take a hike on The Rockwell grounds, or hit 151. This locations gives you central access to all Nelson County has to offer.

**This suite is DOG-friendly with a $75 pet fee. No cats, fines may apply.**

The Dogwood Suite has a private entrance with access to a large shared deck with table and chairs, overlooking The Rockwell grounds. The suite is newly updated with finished concrete floors, a luxurious modern bathroom, and luxury linens. This spacious suite includes an ultra HD smart TV, in-room climate control, sleeper sofa, and dining area with mini fridge, Keurig, and microwave. Please note, we do not provide plates and utensils.

Guests are free to explore the grounds - take a hike on the trails, enjoy a meal outside by the stream, take a walk down the driveway, or stroll to Veritas for a glass of wine.

Please note that Rockwell Ridge Inn makes up three separate units, so you may run into other guests while you are out and about on the grounds. Rest assured that there is plenty of space and your stay will remain very private. If you would like to hold an event, or are traveling with a large party, please view the other Rockwell Ridge Inn units on my listing page to reserve multiple units. Rockwell can sleep 14-16 guests comfortably.

The Dogwood Suite does share a wall with The Chestnut Suite and you may hear your neighbors. We have added extra installation to this wall.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom and nice amenities offered. Flawless interaction with hosts with lots of information provided. Perfection for us would have been a privacy fence on the back deck between the rental units separating the space, but I can see how the shared space works well for families or people traveling with friends. Maybe a privacy fence with a door... just a thought.

Quiet and close to Rt 151

The Dogwood Suite was a great secluded apartment that is part of a larger rental property, tucked in the rolling hills near Afton, VA. The apartment is clean and quiet, and is close to Veritas Winery as well as all the other wineries and breweries along the Rt 151 corridor. The property is a sprawling 20 acres and there is a hiking trail and a meadow where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. The host communication was great. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Ski weekend

Great little cottage approximately 35 minutes from Wintergreen Resort. Great spot to get away from the resort and close to plenty of breweries and wineries. Cozy little duplex with great space to walk pets, have firepit and just take in nature. Awesome bathroom and deck. Can’t wait to go back this summer/fall! Pet friendly!

Cozy Stay! Highly Recommend!

My husband and I decided to stay for a one-night mini getaway. The driveway made it feel like you were tucked away back in the middle of no where. Upon getting inside, the place was very clean, well decorated and cozy. Everything you need is there: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The bathtub and shower make this place even sweeter. We took a nice epsom salt bath, cuddled up and watched Netflix. The bed and linens were SO comfortable.
