Summary:
40's cottage style home. Hardwood floors & hardwood wainscoting original to the home. Open concept. Gas stove & fireplace. 2 guest BRs & office space. Lg private guest bath w closet; tub/shower combo. Master BR has private en-suite bathroom; shower, double vanity, WIC & heated floors. AC window units through out. House sleeps 6-8 max allowed.

Covered back porch & pergola; outside dining table. Extra lounging area w/ fire pit. Yard < 1 acre w/ privacy & dog pen. Quiet rural area.

The Space:
Quiet rural area. House is situated on a quiet shaded lane that's great for morning or evening walks. The sound of crickets and frogs at night. Bright stars in the dark nighttime sky. Guest BR 1 has a twin over full bunk-bed; BR 2 has a full bed with professional office space/working desk. Master BR has a Queen bed and en-suite bathroom. Handicap accessories are available at no-cost; house entrance is not handicap accessible, however.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire house. The shed is off-limits.

The Neighborhood:
Country & rural, but 15+ minutes to town and big-box shopping centers.

Getting Around:
Vehicle is necessary. Walks or bicycle rides can be taken along the 2 mile lane that the house is located on.

Home Away from Home

We love staying at a property managed by Nicole. She is prompt with responses and takes care of any issues we might have. It's great to have place that feels like home while we are there visiting family.

Home Away from Home

The property was very nice and quiet set in a farming town. Older home with hi-end renovations. Very nice outdoor space with BBQ and fire pit. Will definitely stay here again.

National Lampoon Family Vacation

We traveled from Alaska down to Louisiana to watch the New Orleans Saints, & LSU games. The house was a great place to stay. The host was amazing and easy to work with. The house was perfect for a quite get away after being in the cities all day . The place had a nice fire pit area and nice grilling area. Also had a beautiful yard. Thanks for a wonderful time and stay

Awesome Home Away from Home

Nicole has been awesome through our process of inquiry through checkout. I wanted a quiet place for my family to stay while visiting other family. My 75 year old dad is particular. His anxiety about the trip subsided as soon as we checked in. The cozy atmosphere and quiet surroundings were just what we needed. I’ll be booking again whenever we visit.

Perfect stay for family reunion

We rented the house to come to a family reunion and it was perfect! We had three adults and three kids and we had plenty of space. Super clean, very well stocked home, cute updates. Amazing back area was great for relaxing in the evenings. It was super hot out and inside stayed extremely comfortable. Absolutely wonderful stay!

Peaceful!

To sum up our stay in one word..peaceful! Take time to sit under the pergola in the back yard and have a morning cup.of coffee was relaxing. This adorable place will surprise you with just home much space it offers. Thanks for hosting us Nicole, we look forward to getting a chance to return for a longer stay.

Memorial Day Weekend

I rent VRBO properties several times a year and far and away this was the best stocked property I have ever rented. The amenities were plentiful and first quality, and Nicole was very attentive and responsive to our questions. The facilities were new and modern and the personal touches by the owner made for an outstanding experience that far and away exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in the country is a very safe environment, this place is a perfect fit.

Family first

I stayed in this lovely home with my 3 daughters and it was a wonderful experience. We had 1 issue with how to use the fireplace and upon texting the property manager I got assistance right away! I didn’t know how to turn it on. Great experience and I will return for our yearly visit to see my daughter’s grandma

Not clean

The cleanliness of the home was very disappointing. We arrive very late at night after traveling for hours to be welcomed by a dirty home. We had to clean bedding, bathrooms, and pick up bugs off the floor before getting to sleep.I had to wipe down couches dirty coasters and the list just goes on.... It was not worth the extra stress we went through.

Perfect Getaway!
