Our thoughtfully decorated cabins offer a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. With our convenient location and various on-site facilities, our lodge is the perfect place to stay whether you are seeking relaxation or adventure in Glenwood Springs.

From hiking and biking to soaking in the world-famous hot springs or exploring the historic downtown area, our lodge offers easy access to all of Glenwood Springs' top attractions.

Our staff is dedicated to providing friendly and attentive service to ensure that your stay with us is nothing short of exceptional. Come and experience the charm and warmth of the Ponderosa Lodge for yourself. Book your stay today and make memories to last a lifetime.
PETS ARE ALLOWED in this cabin ($20 per pet, per night). All towels, bedding, linens are to remain in the apartment at all times - towels are NOT for pool use!! If violated, we will charge $25 per towel (chlorine and minerals from the pool can destroy our towels!). You may rent towels at the Hot Springs directly. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE CABINS ($500 FINE IF VIOLATED)!
Please clean all dishes, pans, pots and stove if used.
PETS. The Host does allow pets in some units, but ONLY the cabins that are clearly marked PET FRIENDLY (Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, AND 8 are the ONLY Pet Friendly cabins at the Ponderosa Lodge location) : There are NO pets allowed in the other locations. If the Guest is found to have pets in any non-pet-friendly locations, this Agreement and any Security Deposit shall be forfeited, and penalties applied. Additionally,
- Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
- Pet must comply with local legislation requirements.
- Pet must be kept on a leash when on the Host property unless it is in the guest's room.
- Pets must not be left unattended unless kenneled.
-Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on Host property and in the neighborhood.
-Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests and/or neighbors are not inconvenienced.
- Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
- Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Host, the Host's property, its owners and its operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet, and the Host reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages if applicable.

Really cute little cabins. Easy access, convenient proximity to downtown and some hot springs, within walking distance to some fast food restaurants and affordable. The kitchenette was really convenient for dining in and they even had ice in the freezer. The property has chairs outside in various locations and a fire pit. The outdoor communal space was nice and there were plenty of pathways to walk dogs.

From the outside, it’s very unassuming, but we were completely blown away by the interior! So many small attention to detail items that made me really appreciate our stay! The property was nice in quite a few ways and it was a busy period in Glenwood Springs so prices seemed to be up. Still, we felt a little blindsided by the reviews that classified it as "exceptional." Here's the thing: these tiny little cottages from the 1950s or so sit very close to a huge freeway. (As do many parts of Glenwood Springs, to be fair.) The interior is mostly remodeled nicely and furnished pretty well if inexpensively (bed was soft but very comfortable). An air conditioner that looks very old and gross is an exception so it kind of looks as if the remodeling does not include structure or systems--they still feel a little dumpy. On the plus side, once we were inside at night the sound of the freeway was not a huge issue. Less The bathroom was nice. Less positive: the kitchen accessories included scissors and a knife so dull they didn't cut; blackout fabric had holes in it, the space was so small and without closet that there was nowhere to put clothes (not even any hooks) or suitcases. Our cabin was a pet-friendly one so we had a dog kennel and that didn't help of course. This was not inexpensive and due to some issues on our bill, the owner was going to refund a couple of mistaken fees but so far the refund has not happened due to some Venmo problem. Lastly, when we booked there was a photo of Iron Mountain Hot Springs on the site captioned: view from the property. That appears to be a mistake of some kind because that view is definitely inaccurate.

Cabin was perfect for two! Close to all that Glenwood Springs has to offer. Enjoyed an evening in the adirondack chairs in the yard. We would love to stay again when visiting the Springs.
