Walking distance to 80-acre park with hiking/walking trails. Middle of the forest feel, but minutes away from restaurants, grocery store and gas stations. You have easy access to multiple CO gems. Kitchen has a huge island and bar. Family friendly and open concept living space with wood-burning stove and deck. Golf and fishing are minutes away. Easy day trips to Dunes, skiing, and hunting. Wildlife sightings galore!

This property was amazing. My wife, my kids, and I were so happy with our stay. It's in an absolutely beautiful area. Great access to all kinds of outdoor activities. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be booking this property again next year. The Rye/Colorado City area is perfect for our family, and the property that the house sits on was amazing for exploring.

This 21 acre paradise was a fantastic venue for our wedding weekend. All of our friends were able to stay with us, and the house was very clean and nicely decorated. There were plenty of towels and clean dishes to use throughout our stay. The kitchen was roomy, with lots of counter space. We did accidentally set off the smoke detectors a couple times while cooking due to the lack of fan or range hood above the stove. We had a slight issue with the front door lock during our stay, but the issue was resolved promptly after being communicated. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would recommend staying here to anyone interested in the small town feel of Rye with the gorgeous views of the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay while we were in the area for a wedding. Plenty of space for our group that included 6 adults and 4 kids. We especially enjoyed the walking trail and stream located behind the house! We would stay here again!

Lovely home and amazing wooded landscape. So peaceful and comfortable. House had everything we needed and located in such a place we were able to enjoy the area and lakes and return to cabin each day.

My sons wedding in Rye, Co

We had a great time. The kitchen was super convenient in helping us prep for the wedding. We enjoyed live music from our friends as they played for us in the back deck. Lots of deer visited as well.

21 Acre Wood retreat

Great weekend in Rye, Colorado

This VRBO was perfect for us! The home is nestled in the woods, and there is a fun walk down to the creek. We were in Rye for a wedding, and it was so nice to take breaks back at the VRBO. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! I would recommend 21-Acre Paradise to anyone!

Great space in the mountains

We loved our weekend stay in Rye. The upstairs space was clean and comfortable and the open kitchen layout made it a wonderful gathering space. The bedroom and the picture with the little table has a queen and twin bunk bed, which is a bit small for larger adults. The lock on the house is really easy, the parking was plentiful, everything was really easy to find and the short walk down to the creek made for a wonderful outdoor adventures.

Loved the kitchen!

The property was easy to find. Nancy was right on task of giving all the information needed for our stay. She set up everything needed for our one year old. The kitchen was lovely! Our host even gave us a gift of treats!

Great Property

It was a great experience all the way through from search for the property to contact and communication with the hosts. The place was conveniently located and very clean and super easy to get checked in and checked out. Hosts were always on top of things when needed. Definitely a place where we will come back to stay!!
