Cozy - too cozy

As per the prior review, while the place sleeps 6, it's not set up for six (particularly the sitting area, which is small, with one couch). Also, for example, there were only 2 wineglasses. A great place for 2-4. And mattresses need improvement. That said, the place did work for our weekend. Location was excellent. And the management service was great - communicative, timely and responsive.

Christmas break ski stay

We have stayed at many VRBO properties, renting upwards of half a dozen each year for the past many years. This rental, unfortunately did not meet expectations. The rental itself was very utilitarian in terms of furnishings and comfortable amenities. We are a family of 5 and were up for three days of skiing. The property had very limited storage for clothing or other items, which one would expect more of for a ski house. There were no bedroom closets or dressers; just one small end table in each bedroom with a couple of drawers. There were no top / flat sheets on any of the beds - just a fitted sheet and comforter which raised questions about cleanliness. The bathroom was in need of updating and not nearly enough towels were provided and those available were mismatched, old, and some with bleach stains on them. There was one hand towel provided. The couch also was quite small - our family of 5 could not fit and if two were couples were staying, all four adults would not be able to fit. I will say, that the property manager was a pleasure to work with. Communication was top-notch, and anything that we needed was answered immediately. Check-in process was easy, and although the battery died on the digital keypad during the stay, the property manager, Tes, was there quite quickly to replace the batteries and allow us to then lock the unit up. He also replaced firewood for us during our stay when it ran low. Overall, service was great but the property did not meet expectations.

Thank you for your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve and make our guests more comfortable and enjoy their stay. The bedrooms are a bit small but this villa is priced appropriately for a 3 bedroom villa, completely remodelled, 1/2 mile from Mt. Snow. Our rooms and spaces are clearly depicted through the pictures we display in the listing. As you mentioned in your review we pride ourselves on fast and top notch customer service so if you would have let us know you needed more towels or anything else it would have been our pleasure to send them right over. On the note of linen, We decided to upgrade the experience we provide for our guests by eliminating the flat sheet and covering the comforters with duvet covers that get laundered in between each guest. This is an upgrade, not a downgrade. Either way, if you wanted flat sheets we would have been happy to provide and accommodate you with anything we can to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.
