Our newly renovated home is situated in the heart of Old Town, Basalt, and is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, fly fishing, and bus stop. The expansive deck is the perfect place to take in the mountain views, and it's a short drive to Whole Foods and Aspen Airport. Ski areas are 30 minutes away. The house is perfect for small families, fly fishermen, or those looking to "work from the mountains". This home is one of three houses on our 3.7 acre property in downtown Basalt. Our family lives on-site in the other homes, so we are available if you need assistance during your stay.

We just finished a complete renovation, including new kitchen, bathroom, beds and linens, flooring, and paint. We have high-speed, Comcast TV and internet, to allow guests the ability to work from home, stream shows, or watch live TV. The living room also features a wood-burning stove, which guests are welcome to safely use. We provide firewood. The house is equipped with all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, whether for a long-weekend or for a month-long stay in our picturesque mountain town.

We are dog-friendly for friendly dogs. We require a $250 pet fee. Because we have abundant wildlife, including deer, turkey, foxes, and bears that frequent the property, dogs must be leashed. Dogs must not be left unattended in the home, unless they are in a kennel. We do not allow pit bulls, viscous breeds. or incessantly barking dogs.
