Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac the property benefits from a private parking space and you are just a 10 minute walk from Barry Island Beach, a 25 minute drive to Cardiff city centre and many of the best attractions in South Wales. The space
Living Area
As you enter the property ascend the stairs into a bright and cosy open plan living area.
After a long day of exploring Barry or the surrounding areas sit back and relax in the cosy lounge to watch a movie on Netflix on the 39’ smart TV or enjoy a board game. The house has fast wifi which is reliable whether you're streaming or working from home and central heating for those colder nights.

Dining Area
In the open plan living area is a dining table and chairs which comfortably seats four and has everything you need to sit down and enjoy a meal including both adult and childrens dinnerware. A well stocked kitchen will provide you with everything you need to cook and serve up a meal for everyone.

Kitchen
A cosy well equipped kitchen with everything you will need to make this your home away from home including tea, coffee, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, oven, gas stove, microwave, washing machine and all the utensils you need. Under the sink you will also find plenty of products for both cleaning and laundry. On arrival you will also be welcomed with a selection of snacks to tide you over after your journey, and just 5 minutes away you will find a large supermarket with everything you may need during your stay.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 can either be set up as a twin room or a double room, giving you the space you need for your stay. Simply let us know your preference and it can be arranged for your arrival. In this bedroom you will also find a dedicated workspace with ample lighting, perfect for getting ready in the morning or working from home.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and benefits from a view out to the Bristol Channel.

Both bedrooms have space for you to hang and store your belongings during your visit so you can get settled and enjoy your cosy stay.

Bathroom
The bright and airy bathroom offers a bath with an overhead shower. Wash off the sand or relax in the bath after a day of exploring with all the essential amenities you need including bath soak, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush and body wash. All the towels you will need are provided (beach towels too!), along with a hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

Outside
Outside the property there is a dedicated parking space in a quiet cul-de-sac along with plenty of free parking available nearby. Just a short walk away, enjoy a picnic or watch the sunrise in the open park with views across the Bristol Channel.

The Area

Just a 10 minute walk away you will find Barry Island Pleasure Park and Whitmore Beach (Barry Beach), home to the famous vibrantly coloured beach huts, and year round events. Even closer, the nearest beach is just down the road at Jackson’s Bay. Within 10 minutes drive you will be able to explore the rest of what Barry has to offer including the very popular Goodsheds with local shops, food and bars, Barry Highstreet and Romilly Park to name a few.

When you stay with us at “Owl Close’ you are also well connected to Cardiff. In no more than 25 minutes drive you will be able to reach the Principality Stadium, Motorpoint Arena and Cardiff City Football stadium, all of which host a multitude of popular concerts and sports events throughout the year. For those busy events, walk just 9 minutes to the train station and hop on the train to the city centre. If shopping is more your thing, a quick drive into Cardiff and you will reach St David’s Centre or drive less than 30 minutes to the Designer Outlet in Bridgend. Also just a 15 minute drive to Cardiff Airport.

If you are looking to venture further afield, ‘Owl Close’ is your perfect pit stop for exploring South Wales. Reach the market town of Cowbridge within 23 minutes or explore historical attractions including Dyffryn Gardens, Dinas Powys Castle and St Fagan’s - National History Museum. There is also a wide array of beautiful beaches along the local coastline including Watch House Bay, Watch House Beach and Limpert Bay Beach.
