Very nice, clean place to stay close to the Witchita WMA. Everything you need for a short or long stay. This area of Oklahoma is like nowhere else in the US! Everyone should visit the area if you’ve not seen it.

I could say so many things really and I almost don’t want to because then it will be to booked for me to get in again.This was a great stay, I booked it and my family absolutely loved it. There were so many things available to use that most places don’t have, Beverley was very responsive. The place was clean fresh and homie and Oklahoma was simply a beautiful place, I’m really happy we found it.

Local and responsive host offering a central place to stay between Lawton/Fort Sill, The Wildlife Reserve, and Medicine Park. Quiet, clean, friendly street. Nice little town with restaurants in the morning and tasty pizza in the evening. The house was reasonably clean and very wipeable. The foam mattresses were underwhelming, but the list of amenities is long and includes good laundry facilities, a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of supplies (rolls of trash bags in each can, supplies in bath and cleaning closet), chargers in the lamps, luggage racks in each bedroom, and plenty of open space.

This house is so cute! We were really impressed with the cleanliness and amenities available. It seems they have thought of everything! There was coffee, multiple charging options on the lamps, enough towels to accommodate our group, filtered water, shampoo and conditioner, and the list goes on! We were impressed and felt very welcome

Great locations, so close to the wildlife refuge, definitely worth the visit to wildlife refuge. Beverly was great we had questions during our stay about area and her quick response was greatly appreciated. The house is very clean, they even had shampoo and body wash. The hair dryer with attachments was a nice plus. The kitchen had seasoning so cooking on grill was easy to do. Beds were comfortable as was all furniture. We were in area for my son’s graduation from Fort Sill, the house was perfect for him to relax unwind which was he needed.

Just right for our crew

The Buffalo House is comfortable and accommodating. The beds are comfortable. Well-stocked amenities. Not much locally for food or entertainment, but Lawton is close by. Thanks!

Our son was graduating from basic training at Fort Sill and we were looking for something close, that was affordable and available and we found it! We wanted someplace homey to come back to instead of a hotel where he could relax and just enjoy being with family. The house was perfect for our needs! Beverly was quick to respond and the whole process was seamless!

Refuge Visit

The Buffalo House is truly a great spot to rest after a long day of hiking and sightseeing in the Refuge. The art really captures the Refuge and gave me some ideas of how to showcase my own photos. The quilts throughout the house are so beautiful and really a homie touch. The check in and checkout process are so easy. The checkout instructions are super easy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for easy access to the Refuge or Ft Sill.

Best stay ever!!

Beautiful home, nice neighborhood, any and every store/restaurant is within minutes. The exit instructions are simple and easy. I WOULD CHOOSE THIS LISTER EVERY TIME!!

Christmas visit

This house was a great place for our kids to stay when they came for a Christmas visit. It was comfortable and had all the necessities. We definitely hope this property is available the next time the family comes into town for a visit.

Perfect Central location around Wichita Wildlife Refuge, Mt. Scott, Medicine Park and Ft. Still.

Everything you need for a perfect stay and more. Really appreciated that the host provided a great variety of coffee! House was spotless, neighborhood quiet, host responsive. Cache is a very small community with few amenities besides a Dollar General and Dollar store and a couple of small gas stations. Other services are available in Lawton about 12 miles away. Overall, this location and home was perfect for our stay.

Would stay again!

This was a nice house and a great find for the price. It is really four bedrooms and two baths One is a private bath off of Master suite and the backyard was nice. It comes with a barbecue grill which we used. The entire house was well furnished. The beds were comfortable and it was close to the Holy City of the Wichita's and the Wichita Wildlife Refuge which were points we wanted to visit. I suspect if I ever had a need to go to Fort Sill or Lawton for anything it would be a great location for that as well. We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very easy to communicate with, check-in was a breeze, check out was easy and there was no long list of chores to be done prior to checkout (start the dishwasher and start the towels in the washing machine). The neighborhood was quiet which was a nice perk. If we find ourselves back in the area we will absolutely try to rent this place again I would recommend it.

Great and convenient place

Had a great stay here. Home was very nice and cozy. We left something there and were able to get into contact and get our item back very easily. Great location for going to the Wichita Mountains.
