Had a great stay at the property - worked great for the group. Location was nice for golf, walking and not far from restaurants. A little issue with the keypad, but resolved quickly with remote entry by the host.Bob

Great place to stay

Was an absolute beautiful place to stay. House was big, clean and had plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place and I will be coming back next year

We had a wonderful time using the Porcupine Lodge as a homebase for a brothers/nephew’s snowmobiling weekend! The host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

Great place..spacious and all the amenities!

We have a fun filled cousins weekend..the house was perfect for sleeping arrangements, 3 bathrooms was a plus and easy to access.. enjoyed a little wildlife!

We loved our weekend stay here! 7 of us total(3 kids & 5 adults). Plenty of space, house is very pretty and clean, plenty of blankets, towels, seating space, VERY nice kitchen supplied with plenty of dishes, pots, pans and silverware. Access to the Pool, sauna and hot tub was AMAZING. The Grandkids loved it. Host was very attentive, everything was just as listed. Absolutely would stay here again.

Perfect up north getaway

This place was perfect for our group of 2 families to get together and celebrate NYE. Great location- We were a short 10 minute drive to downtown Gaylord and Otsego ski resort. We also loved the neighborhood and access to the indoor pool. Thank you for having us!

Awesome getaway

This cabin was perfect for what we needed. It had lots of beds and was very clean! When I needed to contact the host she was very quick to respond. We loved the fire pit and outdoor area to play games. If I am ever in this area again I will make sure I book this cabin!

Family Vacation Spot

The house was nice with a lot of space for our growing family. The kitchen is small for a group our size, but we made it work. There was a surprising amount of storage space for all of the food we brought and lots of seating in the dining room. There are lots of activities nearby for families, even in the rain.

The vrbo was not very clean with used wash cloths and in the shower and crumbs in rooms. It was low on standard items like toilet paper and body wash. We also couldn’t find a can opener, limited kitchen items. The host was nice and did order us toilet paper and told us where the body wash was to refill. However, I think the overall cleanliness needs work.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

We loved the house, all of the sleeping options and games! Everything was very clean and tidy. We had everything we needed! We enjoyed going swimming at the pool, playing with the arcade game and using the axe throwing game. We will definitely keep this property in mind when renting next summer!

Nice place to stay

We like the over all privacy of the property. The 3 floors worked well for the 8 of us. Close to the golf courses we wanted to play. All of the towels were located in the upstairs linen closet, not in the seperate bathrooms. The main floor bathroom door doesnt stay shut. The deck seating area is nice and the separte bedroom room(s) ac units are great. Would rent again, enjoyed our stay.

Nice little cabin getaway with amenities

The house was nice and located pretty close to town. Set back a little and makes you feel isolated with the woods surrounding it even though its in a cute little neighborhood. My only gripe was that the listing was wrong for bedrooms and bathrooms. There were 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and we got lucky that it still worked out for our group. Otherwise, the internet worked great for our work meeting and there were plenty of teambuilding activities available!

Hello Dennis, I'm glad you all enjoyed your time! Sadly with VRBO's interface it had some errors and put the house with 16 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Agreed it is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house. I check and remove duplicate rooms every week, I'm still waiting for help from VRBO on a long term solution.

Stay

The neighborhood and the house were very nice. However some areas of the home were much cleaner than others. The space was very nice and the rooms were fairly decent sized. The adults all had a fun time using the games on the property, and the bonfire area was very nice as well. The weather for our weekend was not supposed to be great so we planned on using the hot tub and pool indoors. However upon arrival we found out the indoor pool and hot tub were closed due to scheduled maintenance, which would have been nice to know ahead of time.
