Great Stay

This property was clean and functional. We were in town to visit a family member that was sick and this was the perfect place to decompress after a full day of visiting. We found the place to have just what we needed in terms of kitchen supplies and linens. We had plenty of seating--even with three teenagers.

The house was very clean, the location is perfect because everything is close by like H‑E‑B etc, and the beds were really comfortable.

Clean, Peaceful Home

Family trip was a success due to this property! House was incredibly clean and tucked into a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Home is well stocked and comfortable!

The house was clean and met all out needs. Floor plan was good. Neighborhood was safe, and the host was great. Very reasonable.

Great house, host and neighbors

The pictures do not give it justice. Very spacious with very comfortable beds which is important to us. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were outside when we arrived and welcomed us and asked if they could get us anything. It’s a beautiful home and the host was very communicative and helpful! Definitely recommend if you are visiting anywhere near San Antonio.

Grandkids visit

Very quiet on a quiet street. Easy access to Live Oak and Converse. The bed was comfortable and the house was very roomy. It was only us and then our daughter joined us for a couple of days. The next door neighbor has three small dogs but they were not heard much and not when we went to sleep. We did not end up cooking much at all, but there is enough cookware to do most of what you would need to do. There’s even a fire pit out back for evenings outside. Very enjoyable stay.

THIS OWNER AND VRBO SCREWED US

I booked this place for a short trip to San Antonio from 11/30/23-12/2/23 with my wife and our 2 teen sons. After our plane landed and we got our transportation for the trip and some food, we drove to our rental house to get settled in for the night. We arrived to the place around 10:30 pm. I never received any check-in instructions, so I emailed the property owner about what to do. She replied to my email in about 10 minutes informing me that our booking had been cancel due to double booking. She would not allow us to stay at the house that we had reserved and payed for and there was no one even at the rental house! It was empty. The door was unlocked and we even went in! As you can guess, she blamed it all on VRBO for the double booking and blamed it on VRBO for not letting us know about it. Anyway, by this time, it was 11pm and we had nowhere to go. We ended up in a hotel on the Riverwalk and I had to pay for that, too. The owner did refunded me the cost of the rental, but that really did us no good at 12 am in the morning and 1,100 miles from home. VRBO has a stay guarantee that covered a partial night of our 2 nights at the hotel, but we still lost money on the deal, and the comforts of a house. It took almost 3 weeks to get reimbursed by VRBO Guarantee Team. Over the last 10 years, we have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on VRBO. From short trips to Nashville, to weekly rentals at the beach, we have always used VRBO while traveling. Never again!
