Room was nice, but there was way too much ‘verification’ things to do and way too many emails and text messages. Not sure why the hoops to go through when booking and before checking in. I have never had to go through something like this before and not sure why sending a picture of my Id, credit card, and my face was necessary instead of an in person check in at the office down the road.

They were super accommodating on such short notice. I was worried about booking last minute but it was perfect for our needs. We had a great time! We definitely plan on returning. Also thought it was a nice touch checking to see if we checked in ok and if we had everything we needed. Even checked in to see if we made it home safely.

Beach trip

This property is part of a resort and an excellent location. Our group enjoyed the pool areas and the close proximity to the beach. Definitely a good place to stay if you have kids.

Good property. In a resort, so don't expect much peace and quiet. But right on the beach. Nice amenities.The people running the booking will way over communicate. I received 5 emails and 3 texts just about checking in. There are lots of potential charges, like if you change settings on the TV, change the thermostat, use the towels in the wrong place, etc. The fees start to sound like threats. They try to upsell you with late check out for a fee etc. Then it takes forever for them to release the deposit. Maybe all this is normal now, but seemed excessive to me.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE !!

Don't get fooled by the pictures. This place is not nearly as it is described in the VRBO listing. I will list a few items that left an overall bad vacation experience.. 1. Property was infested with cockroaches that we had to deal with. They would crawl into the kitchen, bath, closets everywhere. We had to go get a roach spray to try and kill them. This is NOT acceptable. 2. Pullout beds in the living room were not clean. We had to clean them ourselves when we got there. 3. Broken burners on the stove that could not be used. We notified the front desk for repair but the maintenance crew never showed up. 4. Bathroom flush was not working. It was partially remediated after we complained. Again this is not acceptable for a professional property. 5. Closets were not cleaned. Food crumbs were there. 6. One of the bathroom tubs was clogged and drained water very slowly. On top of that, the property manager was completely non responsive to our complaints and charged us for not leaving the utensils clean, which were not clean to begin with, when we moved in. What a shame !!

The room is large and clean. No issue there. The code to get in the room at check in was delayed almost an hour, the dryer "ate up" anything with strings like bathing suits. Other than that we had a great stay.
