Tucked on a quiet street only a 10-minute walk from downtown’s shops, restaurants, and riverfront, our farmhouse gives you both space and convenience. Inside Space – Open, Airy & Comfortable: Step into a bright open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. There’s ample seating on the comfy sofas (all new in 2023) where your group can lounge and stream movies on the flat-screen smart TV. The adjacent dining area has a large farmhouse table where you can share meals as a group of 8-10. Our fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s delight – all-new stainless appliances, a coffee maker + nespresso, and cabinets stocked with cookware, bakeware, and spices. Whether you’re cooking a big breakfast or shaking up evening cocktails, you’ll have everything you need. We even include a starter supply of coffee and pantry basics. Off the living room, there’s a bonus game room/den featuring a game table, board games, and kids’ toys – a great hangout spot on a rainy day or a dedicated workspace for remote workers who need a quieter corner (free high-speed Wi-Fi reaches throughout the house). Bedrooms & Baths – Room for Everyone: With 4 bedrooms, everyone can sleep comfortably. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and comes with plush bedding and room-darkening curtains for a good night’s rest. Three bedrooms feature queen beds (no fighting over who gets a real bed!), and the fourth bedroom is a fun bunk room – it has a twin-over-full bunk plus full futons, ideal for the kids or additional guests. (In total, the house can sleep up to 12 when utilizing the futons – perfect for multi-family groups.) Both bathrooms have been fully renovated with modern fixtures; one offers a tub/shower combo (great for bathing little ones) and the other a step-in shower. We provide plenty of fresh towels, a starter set of toiletries, and a hairdryer in each bath for your convenience. Outdoor Oasis – Large Yard & Patio: One of the highlights of this home is the huge fenced yard– a rarity this close to downtown! Step out the back door to find a patio with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ grill ready for summer cookouts. Stroll 5 minutes and find yourself at James Street with its quaint boutiques, ice cream stands, and taverns. The famous Boldt Castle boat tours depart nearby – you can walk to the dock or drive 2 minutes. Scenic View Park (with a playground and small beach area) is also a short walk away, so you can easily have a picnic by the river. You’ll have parking for 3-4 vehicles in the driveway. Laundry is easy with a washer/dryer on-site (pack light!). The house is equipped with AC and heating for year-round comfort. For families, we provide a pack ’n play, high chair, and children’s dinnerware. Fast Wi-Fi and multiple smart TVs mean no fights over what to watch.
