Cabin in the Woods

(Please note: Between October - April, highly recommend All Wheel or 4 Wheel Dive vehicles. During snow bearing months you travel at your own risk.)
Great quiet getaway in a private community to enjoy nature. 4-4.5 hours from DC. Minutes from Swallow Falls State Park. 25-30 minutes from Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Ski Resort.

The newly renovated cabin offers a family room, kitchen, reading area, and 1 full bath w/ laundry on the main floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (1 queen bed and 1 twin bunk beds), and a half bath. There is a fire pit and two decks (front & back) to enjoy the outdoors.

We do supply bedding, towels, coffee and teas, spices, initial use of paper products (TP & Paper Towels). We DO NOT supply your laundry detergents.

Enjoy your coffee on the back deck, in the evenings sit around the fire pit to relax, go hiking at Swallow Falls, rent a boat on Deep Creek Lake, go skiing at Wisp Ski Resort, the list goes on
.centrally located to a tons of outdoor fun!

This is a private community. The entire community is dirt/gravel roads ranging from 2400-2700 feet elevation. Speed limit is 20mph, do not speed. It is about a 10 minute drive to/from to the gate.

Between October - April, highly recommend All Wheel or 4 Wheel Dive vehicles. During snow bearing months you travel at your own risk.

This community backs up to a State Forest. There is a lot of wildlife. Be mindful of poison ivy, Bears, Bobcats, rattlesnakes, ticks, & copperhead snakes to name a few.

So many little details that were so well thought out , made this experience at your property amazing. Our 9 year old and 18 year old didnt complain once the whole 3 days we were there. Hot tub was amazing, game area was great. We enjoyed the board games and puzzles. Bedrooms were clean and comfy. Access to extra blankets was great too because it was so cold that weekend. We enjoyed every part of our stay and enjoyed just being together and were thankful your place could accommodate that. Thanks for driving so far to fix the frozen pipes that busted so we could still come. Great owners and great communication ! Definitely recommend this property

We enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend away and this cabin was everything we wanted. The cabin was very well maintained and it was so peaceful to just chill and watch a movie at night. The hot tub was so relaxing. Definitely a 10/10 experience and would love to stay again sometime in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this cabin between 7/30 to 8/1/2025. It was absolutely lovely and a quiet, relaxing get away. We enjoyed the beautiful space, the outdoor views and hikes, and, of course, the hot tub! Nothing is better after a week of travel than de-stressing somewhere so calm and cute. The hosts were helpful and communicative, the home was clean and beds were comfortable, and everything was curated for max relaxation. Loved this place!

Very nice recently renovated 2 BR 1.5 bath - well stocked with thoughtful "extras" - very nice coffee/tea station; location very quiet in a gated resort - surrounded by trees - pleasant with wildlife seen driving to and from cabin - Swallow Falls State Park close by via car - the photos on the website are from the park and not at the cabin/property- owners very helpful and timely replys

This was our 4th stay in Deep Creek and one of our favorite spots. The cabin was the cleanest one we've ever stayed at and all the extra amenities were icing on the cake. Thank you for a great weekend in your cabin!

Great experience!!!

Property just as described and included lots of deer and even a bear sighting It rained the entire time but we didn't mind b/c Cabin was awesome. Had to get used to gated community access but once we figured it out we loved it.... can even have packages delivered to office outside front gate. Would definitely stay again!

Cute little place in the woods.

The.house had everything thing we needed. The master bed was very comfortable and hot tub was amazing. The only problem we encountered was that as soon as we pulled up i realized i no longer had cell service so we had to go back to the main gate so we could pull up the code information. This was really our fault as i should have written it down ahead of time. Our whole reason for going was to rest which we definitely did. Very relaxing.

Cozy and well-appointed Cabin!

My husband and I had a short getaway in this comfy cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub outside. Inside, there was no shortage of comforts, from comfortable furniture and fluffy throw blankets to forgotten toiletries or kitchen items. I recommend a visit to this cute cabin. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful cabin in woods

My family and i planned a trip to Maryland to enjoy the woods, lakes and waterfalls! This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very clean and newly updated. The pictures don't give it justice! Awesome Stay in Beautiful Western Maryland

Our stay at this VRBO property was great! It was very clean and had great amenities. The owner was responsive and accommodating, making our experience even better. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore nearby attractions like swallow falls and deep creek while still providing a peaceful retreat. And the hot tub was great too, we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be returning in the future!
