This private woodland property will be your home away from home. In the heart of lake and wine country there are endless activities to enjoy in all seasons. Canoe, kayak or pedal boat right outside your door or launch your own boat in several nearby lakes. The fishing is great, northern pike, bass, blue gill, croppie, walleye and muskie are waiting.
Lake Michigan, museums, casinos,nature centers, biking/ hiking trails, golf, snowboarding, snow skiing, and public hunting are minutes away. Festivals, boutiques, concerts and antique shops are plentiful.
Or just chill on deck or porch and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Cranes, bald eagles, frogs, turtles, beavers, muskrat, deer, turkeys and birds will keep you entertained for hours.

Wonderful Home and Host

The host thought of EVERYTHING to make us comfortable from extras of everything to welcome gifts. This beautiful home in a beautiful setting was clean and comfortable - the best the six of us have ever stayed during our years of travels together.

A wonderful retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very private with plenty of room for the kids to roam around and you can't beat being able to walk outside and hop on a canoe or kayak. Highly recommend.

Lost Weekend

Great place to relax and enjoy friends for a long weekend. Kayaks and canoe were perfect for a small lake. House had all the amenities promised and Sandie was great in answering our questions.

Remote & peaceful

It was the perfect place for us! We had family from out of state & was celebrating my hubby’s 50th bday! This place was just what we were looking for
..remote, on a lake, big enough for our large group, and spacious! We had a blast fishing, enjoyed the lake view, plenty of space for everyone, the big kitchen table plus island bar seating was perfect & we loved sitting by the fire at night! It was a great time w/family!

Peaceful Retreat

This cabin was the perfect vacation retreat! The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Especially nice were the two living spaces allowing for different activities and quiet time. The top deck was very enjoyable for outdoor dining and the lower deck provided a quiet reading place. The beach allowed easy access to the kayaks and fishing. Any questions were immediately answered and we appreciated the activity suggestions. We had a wonderful time!

Hidden gem!!

We absolutely loved this house, so secluded from neighbors, on a small private lake, with so much beautiful scenery. Me and some of my friends stayed here for my wedding and enjoyed this beautiful house while we prepped the whole week. It was such a gorgeous house, well maintained, and we even walked into the cutest welcome basket with a card and snacks. What a pleasure it was staying here, we are already talking about going back!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

We are located on Little Huzzy Lake with a channel that takes you to the much larger Huzzy Lake. Surrounded by woods our home is peaceful and quiet, allowing for great nature watching.
