Welcome to luxury family living at an affordable price! LOCATION! LOCATION! Safe and Great neighborhood. Sidewalks in the community that are great for walking dogs, jogging or going on walks. This home is close to EVERYTHING. It is a 5 min commute to Woodruff Farm Soccer Complex, and Asian Market. Very close to the highway, and Columbus State University. Easy commute to Ft. Benning, TSYS, AFLAC, Corporate Ridge Industrial Park, Peachtree mall, the strip mall, best dining restaurants and more.

I was most disappointed for several reasons. I booked this VRBO for my niece and her husband and 3 year old daughter because it was close to my house. I was impressed by the reviews and the photos. Neither the reviews or photos matched their experience. My first problem was communicating with the host. The number listed for the host was not in service and I had to call VRBO to get the information I needed. The place needed a deep clean, for example, there was thick dust on the vents and ceiling fan in the bedroom. Many lamps were missing bulbs or weren’t working, scuff marks on the walls and stained kitchen furniture. The place felt just worn down and in need of some care. The 3 year old called it the “empty house.” It was not a warm, welcoming place as advertised. It was most disappointing!

I was very sadly disappointed with my stay at this property. The reviews are not accurate to the space. Especially with one of the main things that people said was awesome was how fast and communicative the host was but that was not true. First off we noticed that the space was not very clean, with surfaces barely wiped down, hair and stains in the shower and stuff from the guest before us still there. I would guess they had a party because there was a balloon up by the ceiling and confetti in lots of different spaces throughout the main space which made it seem like the floors weren't even swept. The other main issue was the fact the stove top on the oven did not work at all. I completely understand that things happen but the hard part was how long the host took to respond. I initially reached out to make sure there wasn't some simple fix or trick to getting it work and the host took a full 24 hours to respond and every text exchanged after that was the same story. So by the time we were even able to discuss potentially getting someone out to fix it we only had one day left of our stay. Our stay was a full 7 nights. It was extremely frustrating. The spaces were nice to use but definitely MANY small things that were not great. Stains on couch, pillows, sheets and just an overall lack of cleanliness. There were pots and pans but they were thrown in the cupboards to an extent of them falling out when we opened the doors. Much more I could say but overall just seriously lacking

Great family time

Nice place, we got to grill hamburgers and we did s'mores outside. Also cooked a homemade meal on the stove . My son enjoyed us being able to stay close to his bootcamp his going back Sunday for training for National Guard. Great stay !

Charming VRBO in decent location with a huge Asian Market minutes away

While this is an older home, the interior design choices give it a modern vibe and was a pleasant stay. We cooked in and the kitchen provided all the necessities needed to prepare our food. No non stick pans/skillets but nice steel ones that get the job done. The beds were incredibly comfortable. My Whoop said I got better recovery than I do at home. The water pressure for showering was excellent. Shower curtain in master en-suite was a little flimsy. Small master bath (typical for this age home). For pet owners, please look at the details carefully. Nobody’s fault but my own but they don’t allow you to leave your dogs alone. We choose pet friendly but didn’t read all the details as we usually leave our dogs home but our pet sitter was not available so we had to pivot to taking them. Again, no blame on the owners, I stayed with the dogs the whole time which ended up “forcing” me to relax for the 3 days and it was a good home to be “stuck” in. There was no shampoo/conditioner provided and no extra kitchen trash bags, but there were ziplock bags which is always a nice surprise. The owner responded and did bring some trash bag by the house. I’ve had quicker response times by other VRBO owners so can’t say they’re not responsive because they do respond. This is a good choice to stay at for the area.

Nice Home with Convenient Location

This is a nice little home in a convenient location. Driveway was a little bit of a challenge for larger vehicles, but still manageable. The beds were comfortable and clean. If you plan to cook, I recommend bringing some extra cookware.

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked well. If you will be doing much cooking I would just check on what is going to be provided in the kitchen. The owner is very responsive and I felt questions were addressed. The location seemed to work for Fort Benning and shopping. We would consider coming back in the future to this house. The neighborhood was quiet. Thank you.

House on the steep driveway

Overall it was a nice place. The decorations were pretty and it looks like they are steadily improving the older parts of the home. I would recommend getting an anti slip mat inside the main bathroom due to it being a little slippery when showering. The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was there was barely any silverware, we contacted the host and the silverware never arrived so we had to spend some money to buy our own. The pots and pans they didn’t have a lot of, so you may want to bring your own essentials. The neighbors were very nice, the beds and couch were comfortable. We did enjoy our visit, these were just minor things that can be fixed to improve on. We did enjoy our stay. We even had a tornado siren wake us up to warn the neighborhood that a tornado was approaching in the middle of the night. That was comforting to us because the tornado hit a street behind us. Everyone was safe and thankful for the warning. Overall the place was quiet and in a decent location.

Quiet plenty of indoor fun

Decorated nice, comfortable, quiet neighborhood setting. Great stove and fridge and laundry. Games for family fun. Off street parking. Responsive owner. Close to grocery and restaurants. Perfect for our trip to see our soldier graduate and bring him here for a family visit and meal.

Convenient, quiet neighborhood, close to many places

Overall, the house was great. The layout was perfect for our trip and needs. Communication (texting) with owner was convenient and prompt replies. We had plenty of space, beds were comfortable, appliances worked with no issues, fenced in backyard that was decent size. Negatives - cleaning was just ok and done in main areas only, heat did not work consistently, several door knobs did not work (including side entrance and one back door). Would definitely consider staying again but not in winter!

House is nice and in a good location. If you plan to cook, bring your own pots and pans. The ones provided are not in the best of shape. The check out time on the listing was 11am, but the instructions given once i got there changed check out time to 10 am.
