Adorable home on pilings overlooking the Neuse River. Two-bedroom home with river views from every room.Wrap around porch to enjoy sunsets and river breezes. Large bathroom w/shower. Washer /dryer. Open living area w/large dining table for entertaining. Firepit, sitting area & grill under the house. Community pier w/kayak launch & picnic area. Great for fishing, crabbing or docking your boat for short stays.Sandy beach for sunbathing or shell seeking just a short walk from the cottage. There is a public boat ramp just a few miles down the road.

Quiet community, perfect stay

Perfect little beach house in a quiet area. Perfect for a getaway where you just want to unwind. House was spacious and well kept.

Great stay in a cute little small town!

We stayed at Pelican Watch for the weekend while in town for a wedding in Oriental. It’s a very charming little town and the house was only 10 mins from the wedding venue in Oriental. The house itself was clean, spacious and charming. Would recommend to any friends or family traveling to Oriental or Arapahoe!

Nice Weekend Getaway

Mom, Daughter, and 9 month old grandson getaway plus a place to connect with grandmother who lives in nearby New Bern. House is in a quiet neighborhood with some beautiful water views. The place has been updated and updates seem to still be in progress but this was not an issue as it was clean and spacious. Great for families as bedrooms are connected and have open vaulted ceilings. New Bern about 30 minutes. Oriental is less than 10 minutes. Very nice!
