Escape to the cape today and explore the natural beauty of the area with ease from this perfect coastal home here in Wellfleet! This cozy home is surrounded by trees and away from the road, yet it is only 1.5 miles to LeCount Hollow Beach, which gives a wonderful opportunity for a nice walk/run/bike/drive to the beach at any time of the day. The location is just perfect for many outings with a short drive/bike/walk: the bike trail is 0.5 miles away, Wellfleet Audubon and Drive-in Movie Theater with Wellfleet Dairy Bar and mini-golf is only 3.3 miles away, Marconi Beach is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore and is 2.6 miles away, and the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham is 6.4 miles away. There are many beautiful ponds around within a short drive: Duck Pond is 1.5 miles, Long pond is 3.6 miles, Gull pond is 4 miles, and Great Pond is 5.3 miles away. These ponds offer great swimming/water sport sites.
Don't forget to step outside each night, as the Milky Way can be seen almost every clear night due to the lack of light pollution in this area!
The large, fully furnished home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full eat-in kitchen with brand new stainless steel electric range oven, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee machine and hot water kettle and a beautiful deck and lots of outdoor space to enjoy. There is a wide range of books and board games for all ages. Linens and towels are not provided.
There is a very nice restaurant called Boulangerie Bistro right on Route 6 for breakfast/lunch/dinner which is 0.5 miles and is famous with its croissants and many other baked goods, soup and sandwiches.
Check in is 4 PM, Check out is 10 AM.

We used to rent out our Cape home years ago and have had many returning happy customers. Then, we started to use it more often and stopped renting it out. Life getting busy with children's local activities, we started renting our home again and enjoy making new connections while we share our Wellfleet home with guests.
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
Our family loves Outer Cape Cod especially Wellfleet. Our home is located off rt 6. Although it is only a min drive from it, it is a very very quiet spot. We love to listen to the nature as we sit on our deck which have many trees. Because of the trees around the house you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack at any time on the deck. At a clear night, we love looking for and finding out the different constellations. Air smells very clean! Very peaceful! We are both scientists with long academic background and have spent many productive hours, reading, writing and finishing projects while we enjoy the nearby ocean beaches and ponds, hikes, art galleries, drive-in movie theater and many other interesting sites. It is also a great friendly neighborhood with many year around residents.

Located on the outer end of Cape Cod, Wellfleet is famous with its many art galleries, world's most famous oysters, bounded on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the west by Cape Cod Bay, 61% of the land area of Wellfleet is in the Cape Cod National Seashore Park. Town has miles of ocean and bay-side beaches; numerous beautiful, clear, spring-fed, ponds; many fine art galleries, shops and restaurants; and the magnificent Wellfleet Harbor offering a constantly changing panorama of sail boats, motor yachts, sport fishing boats and travelers. Wellfleet is home of the Cape Cod National Seashore Headquarters as well as the 1,000 acre Massachusetts Audubon Society Wildlife Sanctuary. The fresh water ponds are a particular delight in Wellfleet. Their tranquil surfaces shimmer in early sunlight, and their small sandy beaches echo with happiness in late afternoon as the shadows from the surrounding pines darken the water. The combination of a day on a stimulating and expansive backshore beach, and a leisurely swim in the warm water of one of the kettle ponds is a special luxury that Wellfleet offers.
