We enjoyed our stay and the space was lovely and very comfortable. However, the check in process was very stressful. I had contacted the host the day before requesting check in information and was told it would be sent by 9:00 AM the day of arrival. We had a busy day and I did not check my email until we arrived on location only to find I had no reception/connection so could not access my account. After trying several locations we finally found connection and WiFi at the library which was a half a mile out of town. Thankfully it was open that time. As you can imagine this was very stressful. This all could have been avoided with better information and communication. There was never any information regarding the lack of cell service in the entire town.

This is the perfect little place for a weekend getaway. Easy walk to all the places you need to visit.

This is a cute loft appropriate for a short stay for 2 adults. Very clean and the host was super responsive. Carpeting and some of the furnishings are on the older side. There is no oven, but there is a microwave and a portable electric cooktop.The location is perfect for strolling through the beautiful grounds at The Inn at Little Washington. PattyO’s is a great spot for lunch and dinner. This area has spotty cell coverage, but the WiFi at the loft is reliable and strong. There is one week in July each year where The Inn at Little Washington closes for “rejuvenation”, so if you’re planning on dinner or tea at the inn make sure you avoid booking during that week.

The property is steps away from the Inn, making the indulgence there easier! Only thing to note is that to access the apartment, you have to go up/down steep stairs in case that’s an issue. If you’re tall, might be harder with the lower ceilings and smaller shower (great water pressure). But the space is larger than what appears in the photos with the kitchenette and sitting area sep from the bedroom. Perfect for us as we combined lots of hiking and exploring with lovely meals at the Inn for a leisurely evening.

Magical little place!

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay and plan to return for a quiet escape. It’s much bigger than it appears in pictures and was the perfect little retreat. We can dinner at the Inn and it was an easy walk down the road.
