Homefire Mountain Escape is a brand new construction, barn-style home that will enchant you when you are not off discovering why Montana is the last best place. Homefire Mountain Escapes can sleep eight Guests, has a full and complete kitchen, washer/dryer, desk area, loft area upstairs with a pull out couch, and another pull out couch in the main floor living room. The only neighbors are the trees and the wildlife! The beauty of the Flathead Valley is that you can live in the mountains and still be only 15-20 minutes from town. We are also two minutes from Lake Blaine. Come "Home" from rafting, kayaking, hiking, boating, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling and sightseeing to your new favorite "Home Away From Home" where the Homefires are always burning!

Keith and Renee had a great, well maintained property within a short distance of Glacier National Park. It was the perfect place for our group to stay while we explored the area.

Perfect escape

Had a wonderful time vacationing here with family (4 adults total)! The property was immaculate and in a great, quiet location just outside of town. Easy drive to West Glacier, Whitefish, downtown Kalispell and more. Hosts were exceptional and we would stay here, again, in a heartbeat!

Amazing home

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. The home was meticulously cleaned and very well set up. If you need a high end base camp that provides privacy and luxury, then this is your place. Our hosts were fantastic. Just do yourselves a favor and book this place.

Great getaway at the base of the mountains and Lake Blaine!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin in the woods. It is very clean and spacious and has all the amenities that you could need on a stay away from home. Open the windows at night and hear the sound of the Montana wilderness in the comfort of a comfy bed. The turkeys and deer are abundant here. Close to Lake Blaine and a lovely drive to the cabin as well. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Family Trip

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Renee and Keith were amazing hosts. Their home was amazing and best VRBO we've stayed in to date! Beautiful Home

We based out of here to do Glacier NP. The location is perfect, the home is beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owners are VERY responsive and super nice. The chickens are fun, and we loved having fresh eggs. HIGHLY recommend this property!!

Winter Bliss in the Flathead Valley

Had a wonderful, quick stay over new years. The property is clean, new, and well appointed. No detail was overlooked when the barn was transformed to this getaway. Watching the snow fall while soaking in the hot tub was the cherry on top! 10/10 would stay again.

Amazing house with easy access to many areas

House was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need! We stayed for 5 nights and although we didn’t spend much time in the house because we were out exploring the area/park
our family of 4 enjoyed relaxing in the living room/loft and slept very well. We saw lots of wildlife (turkeys & deer) on the land surrounding the property which our family enjoyed watching on our drive back each night. Not much of a view of the mountains from the house but you get a very private, wooded feel. Owners were quick to respond and checked in with us during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely stunning !! Dont miss this one !!

This property is gorgeous !! Brand new everything. Just built and still has that fresh built smell. Super well equipped for the whole family including play pens for any small children. I cant say enough good things about the host, the farm fresh eggs from the coop next door are amazing. You wont be disappointed with anything at this property. The owners did an outstanding job on this one and we will definitely be back.

Family vacation

The Homefire mountain escape was a great home base to discover Glacier National Park. The home was nestled at the base of the mountains and close proximity to Kalispell and Whitefish. There was an abundance of wildlife too. The home was spacious and clean. The hosts thought of everything to equip the home to make an enjoyable trip. The amenities were great and we enjoyed the hot tub at the end of a long day. The hosts were responsive and checked on us regularly. We loved watching the chickens. We would recommend this home!!

You can find us living life outside, skiing/snowboarding, camping, fishing, rafting, mountain biking, paddleboarding, and playing with our dogs. We have ten acres in the beautiful mountains of the most beautiful area of the state. We are beyond grateful to live, work, and play here!

This property has been a passion project of ours for the last two years. We dreamed of building a beautiful oasis nestled into the same mountain that we are. After two years of planning we are here and so is this new home that we love and we hope you do to! Every single detail was hand selected (and stressed over...haha!) by us with you in mind and hoping that if we built it just as we would want it (being home grown Montanans) that you would love it as much as we do. We truly hope you get a sense of our passion and before the end of your vacation, a love for Montana as well!
