Wake up to the smell of wild roses in the front garden and the sounds of the local birds and the village church bells. This 1940s tastefully restored 3 bedroom 2 bath village home is only 6 minutes drive away from Tomar, the world renown Templar City and the Unesco Site, Convento de Cristo. It's equipped with a full kitchen, including dishwasher, living room, central heating, laundry, in-ground saltwater pool and in-ground hot tub, outdoor kitchen and shower, built in Portuguese BBQ, children's play area within the orchard and many more amenities to make your stay comfortable, independent, smooth and relaxing with the whole family including the furry friends. Nabao river and beach is a short hike away from our house. Peaceful and quiet. 35 min from Coimbra, 20 min to Fatima, 50 min from Nazaré on the Atlantic coast and 75 min to Lisbon, just in the center of Portugal, perfect location to use as a base to explore Portugal.
The pictures say it all. We also have the main house on the property- an attached 2 bedroom/2 bath section that is completely independent/private from your place. You might be sharing the pool, and the outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, bbq and other outdoor areas with my family or other quests.
The property is huge so it will still feel like a peaceful retreat. We recently re-envisioned the entire backyard, installing an in-ground pool and hot tub spa as well as an outdoor kitchen, bbq, outdoor shower/bathroom, a children's play area in the orchards as well as sun loungers and more.
Special Note: There is no need for air conditioning in this house. It's a restored village home built with classic stone construction which us naturally cooling and comfortable inside even when it's very hot outside. It's also ECO-Friendly. We still have fans in each room for guests to use if they need. The house is also equipped with central heating as well as electric heaters for additional heat for guests who like it extra warm.

Up the hill from the Nabao river and river beaches around. 1 hour 15 min away from Lisbon, on the way to Porto, in gorgeous Santarem. 20 min to Fatima, 45 min to Nazare and 6 min drive to the world renown Templar City, Tomar. Fully fenced front and backyard filled with aromatic plants and flowers awaiting families and furry friends to enjoy its tranquility and relaxed atmosphere in a quaint authentic Portuguese village setting.

Pictures don't do it justice but should give you a good idea as to why our house is unique. We welcome pets and families. We have a pool and a hot tub! Once you experience it, we have no doubt you will want to come back.
