From weekend getaways to extended stays, this cozy seaside cottage is perfect for a relaxing retreat on the Oregon Coast. The cottage offers a convenient location just a short stroll from Nye Beach and shops and restaurants along Coast Street. Waterfront establishments by the Newport Marina are only a mile away and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse is just over a mile from the home. The Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Newport Discovery Zoo are within a three-mile drive.

When you're not out exploring the coast, enjoy casual downtime at home with private indoor and outdoor areas to help you make the most of your stay. The deck is perfect for summertime lounging while a sofa and a smart TV welcome casual comfort in the living room. A gas fireplace offers cozy home heating through chilly nights and winter months. The full kitchen comes ready and equipped to handle all your home cooking needs. There's also a gas grill provided for at-home barbecues. A unique half-door leads to the bathroom. The bathroom also comes equipped with a wall-mounted heater for added comfort. Additional perks include free WiFi and a private washer/dryer.

The property was great. The only problem we encountered was the entry door lock... The (0) key was sticky and some of the keys entered twice when pressed once( can hear the tones) Also the video offered was not the one on this entryOther then that we hope to come back to the same property

THE perfect spot to stay in Newport

Perfect location to walk to beach and restaurants. This home looks like it’s remodeled with excellent taste. Every detail was thought of inside the house. The couch was comfortable & so was the recliner. I loved the beautiful hooks and rack by the front door to drop your stuff, as well as the mats to leave shoes at the door. I ADORED the dog pictures hung throughout the home. My only negative was that all the pillows squished flat and the table wobbled. Otherwise, this is perfect in every other way and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and had a nice kitchen. The furniture could've been a little more comfortable. The couch was quite stiff and not comfortable to sit on. The bed was OK but not great. Other than that we enjoyed everything else. The bathroom had been done very nicely. It was great having a washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything you needed. They had a cute backyard. There was a place to park a car. I was glad we were in a smaller car cause we needed to pull all the way forward so we didn't hang out onto the sidewalk. Communication was very good. We were pleased with our stay.

Underrated Beautiful Hideaway

Perfect couple hideaway, we stayed here from out state. Highly recommend over a hotel or motel, great privacy, peaceful away from all the bustle and close to everything in New Port. No A/C but open a windows and its perfect. This little house is small yet perfect and spacious enough.

Super adorable and comfortable. Supplies in the kitchen were perfect for cooking. I would come back again by myself. I don't think it's big enough for more than one person if you like some space

Spacious and Neat

Overall enjoyment of the cottage, although its location only rates 4 stars because of the busy street it is on. It is also just a set-back only a few feet from the street itself, giving a feeling of lack of privacy. The bath heater is too noisy and often would wake us during the night. It was also difficult to verify that the setting on the digital thermostats would actually accept your temp changes. Towel hooks are needed in the bathroom near the shower. Also, the bath lite fixture opposite the mirror is reflected in your face and eyes when in front of the mirror
bad functional location. Yes, how do you turn the D/W on?? Lastly, is that really off-street parking??? Overall a fine place to stay, but could be even better.

Nice Little Cottage

Nice upgraded cottage. Nice appliances and well equipped. Cozy and warm. Comfortable bed. Great location for walking around the Nye Beach area. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative is couch is worn and needs to be replaced in my opinion. Other than that no complaints.

Everything was wonderful! We enjoyed the private setting, and the cottage was well stocked. If we’re being truly picky, the bed squeaked a little and the entry to the cottage was a little tricky, but we worked it out!

Mimi's Hideaway

Apart from a low-pressure shower and meh pillows (bring your own!), this is a fantastic little place just up from Nye Beach. It's perfect for any person or couple looking for a spot to stay in Newport.
