Welcome to Reindeer Shack, time to cozy up in this studio getaway. Located minutes from everything to do in Hochatown, walking distance to the new safari and hiking distance to the lake. Book your weekend getaway now.

Located off Old Hochatown Road, very peaceful setting. For larger groups we have another property next door.

Reindeer Shack outdoor space is amazing, you will want to spend all your time on this amazing deck. As you enter the property you are welcomed by a spacious studio getaway. The full size kitchen offers everything you would need. The bed is queen size with a cozy twin above on the platform. The bathroom has a tile walk in shower and washer/dryer.

Stay was nice but the cabin was not properly cleaned before our arrival. Easy fix though, we had to wipe some stuff down and wash the linens. Nothing deturing enough not to rebook.

Nice cozy cabin

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the reindeer shack. It was tucked away and secluded, but close to several restaurants and entertainment venues. The place was very clean and the hot tub was an added bonus. I left my boots on the property, so I contacted the owner who shipped them back to me. It was a great experience and we would stay again and recommend the property to others!

Not what we expected

The host put so many rules on their clients that it was not easy to enjoy our stay. Don't do this, make sure you strip the beds, make sure you wash all your dishes. These are just some of the rules. Most were stated the day before we checked out. We come up twice a year, but only stayed here this one time. We wont be back.chec

Quaint getaway

The property was nice and fairly clean for the most part. I do wish we knew that the neighbors were so close and that the hot tub was not very private. The downstairs bed was decently uncomfortable for both of us, but we made it work. It’s a good location for the town And to get away into the woods for a couple days. The kitchen was the perfect size, but the refrigerator did not freeze the ice cream or the ice hard enough. Overall, it was a good stay.

I enjoyed my stay, the bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The only things about this property was the hot tub and washer/dryer had the same kind of unclean mildewy smell to it.

Plastic mattress pad pain

Sleep was awful. The linens towels and pillows weren’t great but the worse part was they had a plastic mattress pad that you could hear and feel through the thin sheets. It made it hot and sweaty. I get they wanna protect the mattress but there are waterproof mattress pad options that aren’t plastic and gross. Under quality for cost of nights rent. I get there were other attractions built into the price but if I’m going to pay 300 or near per night the bedding should be of higher quality.

Very Relaxing

My spouse and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was very relaxing! Even though there were cabins on either side of us it still felt secluded. The only issue for us was the bed. It was memory foam which I’m not a fan of and the mattress protector was all plastic so the sleeping wasn’t that comfy for me. Some may not have a problem with it. Other than that the hot tub was very relaxing and we enjoyed watching movies on the porch while soaking. It was close to everything as well so you didn’t have to drive far. The casino was just a couple exits off the main road too! We had a really enjoyable time! I highly recommend! It’s not the most luxurious cabin which I usually like and my husband always calls me bougie lol but this was very nice and clean and cozy!

Momma Retreat

This cabin was the PERFECT get away for my best friend and I. We left the kiddos with the dads and ran for the woods! We were welcomed by the cutest cabin that's back in the woods yet still right there in town for all the amazing food and shopping. Highly recommend the MoonLit company for your cabin needs.

Got engaged while staying here :)

Perfect for a couple’s get away. Small, but cozy and plenty of room for 2 people. Hot tub worked great and was easy to use!! Great patio space. Location was super convenient for doing things in Hochatown - close to everything but still felt secluded at the same time! The loft/ extra bed space is pretty tiny, but was perfect for storing our suitcases. We came for a birthday trip and ended up getting engaged during our stay! Will always be a special place for us :)

Reindeer Shack was perfect!

This property was well located to feel isolated. My wife and I enjoyed the covered porch. It is stocked with a good amount of kitchen equipment so you can stay in one location for your trip. Thank you for this listing!

Great outdoors

Would stay here again except for the bed set up. There is a small loft where a single person could sleep. The floor extends over the main bed downstairs, making your head feel like it’s in a cave.
