The Rock House near Temple and USU

Spacious home with a unique fireplace mantel built with rocks from around the world. So much you can do in this home that includes garage parking, full kitchen with cooking ware and utensils, king size bed, full bath, TV room, piano, guitar, books, and games. Downstairs includes a 3/4 bath, bedroom with queen, family room with queen bed and TV. Close to USU, the LDS temple, downtown Logan, and Logan canyon. Nearby parks, Merlin Olsen and Whittier center, have fun amenities for kids and adults. Lots of great restaurants. Relax after a day at Beaver Mtn or Cherry Peak ski resorts which are just 30min away. The mountains in this area have great Mtn biking, hiking and running trails. There are miles of country roads for road biking and going for a drive. First dam, at the mouth of Logan canyon is a great place to feed ducks, kayak, fish, and have a picnic.

Great place for a wedding at the Logan, Utah Temple. The amenities were good, instructions clear, and ample space. The only comment I have is that if you have a larger group with varying sleep schedules, the home is older and there is little insulation to help dampen sound. If you're sleeping in the basement, you can hear every footstep above you. This is simply something to keep in mind depending on your group.

We had a wonderful stay at the rock house. The beds and pillows were sooooo comfortable and the entire home was immaculate. I could tell that the hosts had put a lot of effort to make sure we had everything we needed and it felt instantly like home. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a great stay to check out this place!

Very clean home with attention to detail in cleaning. Quiet neighborhood close to a lot of things. Because there is no AC it doesn get pretty warm up stairs during the day. Kitchen was well stocked with the basic needs for cooking and eating but it would have been nice to have a bigger pot and pan to cook meals with. Owners were extremely responsive and had great communication. Definitely would stay here again.

What a great property! We loved learning about the history and finding all the different rocks in the fireplace wall and outside. Our kids loved the “secret” room downstairs. Comfortable beds, and the temperature inside was just right after we got used to the AC and fan. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Logan for a few nights.

Great stay!

John is an excellent host. The house may be old but it has everything you need and more! Great location. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of them. Small details like having fresh water in the keurig and in the frig and toiletries ready for use in the bathrooms were a nice welcome. We will be coming back! P.S. thank you for mailing my earings back to me.

Awesome place to stay

I was very impressed with the stay at the Rock house, every bed was comfortable the cleanliness was very impressionable, would pass a white sock test. Communication with the guest was above and beyond and they went the extra mile to help accommodate with my needs. Especially when they went out of their way for something simple.

Super CLEAN house in great location

What a great space

it was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the big table for playing games, the kitchen with everything we needed, and the multiple living areas and sleeping space. Would definitely stay here again.
