Enjoy a delightful stay in a recently renovated, newly furnished guest cottage with water views in charming Oxford, Maryland. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of Town Creek. Take a short walk or bike ride to town where you can enjoy fine dining and shopping. The house is equipped with TV, Wifi, AC to make your stay comfortable. There is reserved parking in front of the house and enjoy dining on the outside porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming, peaceful cottage in Oxford! Communication from John the host was quick and helpful. The neighborhood and view of the water is delightful. We highly recommend staying here if you need a small place in town.

My husband and I were staying here for Ironman Maryland. The place was perfect for the two of us and was about 25 minutes from Cambridge and the race venue. We did walk around downtown Oxford and enjoyed the quite town. Definitely recommend staying here and would return if we are in the area.

Perfect Spot

We had a lovely time staying in this well situated VRBO. Everything was very clear and easy with check in/out and our stay in general. We love Oxford and know it well, and this location was well suited to visiting family. We would stay here again!

The well equipped cute cottage with a view is in a quiet neighborhood. It is our favorite place to stay in Oxford. Nothing is more than a few minutes away in this historic town. Perfect for recharging and relaxing.

A great quite getaway on the water in a friendly and peaceful neighborhood

A great getaway but could even be better if you were to have a comfortable lounger in the living room as well as a couple of loungers in the garden. Despite the lounger issue I would definitely rent again

Oxford Retreat

The property was in great shape and a comfortable walk to downtown Oxford. We stayed three days which was perfect for us. A couple of other towns are a reasonable distance for a day trips, which we did. The property has a great view of the water; is in tip top condition; perfect for 2 people and has an outside deck with shade for an afternoon adult beverage and snack. We'd highly recommend this property and hope to return again.

Oxford quaintness

The house was perfect. I loved the location of the house to Oxford and the surrounding area. It was a perfect place to retreat to after biking and running. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. John was available to answer any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet, quaint, and friendly.

Cute guest house!

This cottage was perfect for my family. It had many amenities that we didnt expect such as shampoos and soaps provided, snacks, travel guides, and beach towels. The beds were comfy! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. The town is so cool! We spent a day in Oxford going to the park on the river, eating a yummy lunch from the deli at oxford market, riding the ferry, enjoying the little beaches, and having dinner on the water. The host was great with communication and answered all of my questions when trying to decide if this place would be right for us before renting. The cottage was just a few minutes away from Easton where my family lives. We would definitely stay here again when visiting family on the shore!

Excellent Hosts in Oxford

We had an excellent visit to Oxford and absolutely no issues with this property or the hosts. Highly recommended. Good communication leading up to and throughout our stay. The property was neat, clean, and in great condition. Exactly what we wanted and expected from the listing. They had all the little details taken care of too --- plenty of towels, shower products, Guest Mode on the TV (made it easy to log into streaming apps etc.). Thanks so much!

Heavenly and yet close to town

Beautiful cottage on the water with lovely views, quiet and super-comfortable. It feels very private, although in a neighborhood, and easy and enjoyable walking distance to downtown Oxford, where there's a great deli and ice cream parlour. As someone else mentioned, I'd love to have outdoor lounge chairs. But given that I messed up our reservation (confused the nights I booked) and John rescued us, we are completely thrilled with our stay. Easy to cook a meal, make morning coffee and sit on the deck, or in dining area and look out at the water. Beds were comfy. I want to come back!

Amazing property and location for two

The property is perfect for 2 people. The view is beautiful from the deck. Amazing Sunrise view! Beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds. Oxford is a small town and the water is accessible from many directions that are not far from the property. We also took the ferry from Oxford to Bellevue and back. We enjoyed the ride so much. The town has beautiful houses with beautiful gardens that are fun to look at. We enjoyed the various beautiful melodious birds at the deck. Highly recommend it.
