Lumina Noma Condessa is in a great location on a quiet street with easy access to shopping, restaurants, parks and public transportation. The one-bedroom units are all in the back of the building, which means that you don't hear any noise from the street. However, because they are in back of the building, they are also very dark. It's actually difficult to tell whether it's day or night from inside the flat. The only natural light has to come from windows that open to the stairwell or a central airshaft that has a miniature courtyard at the bottom of it. The central airshaft and the stairwell also transmit noise from one unit to another, so you will hear your neighbors coming and going or talking on the phone.The kitchens in the 1 BR unites are minimally equipped. We were surprised that neither of the two units we rented had a bottle opener/corkscrew, so we had to buy one at a market. The rooftop terrace, on the other hand, is fabulous. A wonderful, comfortable place to hang out, have a meal and enjoy the weather. If we go back, we would try to get Unit #5, which is on the top floor, adjacent to the rooftop terrace. That gets you more natural light and makes you less likely to hear your neighbors.
