This condo boasts an enviable location at Big Sky Resort, mere steps from the Explorer Lift. When you're not skiing or riding 300 named runs across 5,850 acres of terrain, you'll find so much to entertain you at Shoshone. There's a pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, a sauna, and the Yellowstone Conference Center in the complex, as well as Mountain Village's shops, restaurants, recreational outfitters, events, and summer and winter activities within a few steps.

Whether you're planning to ski all winter or hike and mountain bike come summer, this condo provides a scenic, comfortable, and convenient home base. Wake up to a panoramic view of the mountains, fix yourself a hearty breakfast using stainless steel kitchen appliances, and be among the first on the slopes each day.

On summer afternoons, unwind in the comfort of central air conditioning or swing open the door to let in the fragrant alpine air from the slim, standing balcony. On winter evenings, gather for card games at the dining room table, read by the gas fireplace in the living room, or pile on the sofa for a favorite movie on cable. Each of the two sleeping spaces - the bedroom and the living room - has its own full bathroom and TV. Complimentary WiFi is provided as well.

Room was basically as advertised. It was nice being on the first floor as the elevator often had a line. Onsite staff at the Shoshone were very helpful and polite even though we didn't book through them.Host was welcoming via text but was unaware of some aspects of the building. Responses could sometimes be slow.They provided the wrong gate code to access the parking lot, but I was able to get the correct code from the building reception.Initial communications did not cover important aspects like the community laundry facility location and access code. I had to ask to get that information.The pillowcases in the master bedroom had not been replaced and were dirty.The fireplace was not functional. We did not raise this as we didn't want maintenance people in the unit.It was unclear when trash pickup would take place and no way to take trash out ourselves.It was nice that they had decks of cards and a few other puzzles and games for use by guests.

Great conference option

We were a group of 5 researchers at Big Sky for a scientific conference. This condo was comfortable and a great location for coming and going from meetings.

Great 1 bedroom close to lifts

The unit is located right in the main village area close to lifts. You can tell it's an older accommodation, but it gets the job done. The bed that pulls out from the wall in the living room was fine for our 22 year old son. The indoor hot tub with tunnel to outside heated pool was unlike any I've ever seen--very nice when the outside temperature is 6 degrees.

It was a beautiful condo with new amenities, comfortable bedding and SO convenient to walk to our favorite ski lift and make first tracks. The hosts obviously care about your experience! It was wonderful.

Perfectly located ground floor unit

This Condo had a great location at the base of Big Sky, easy ski-in/ski-out. It was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and had a modern well-equipped kitchen. We loved the ground floor access, not having to wait for an elevator! The building is perfectly located next to the base lodge. This was a spacious one-bedroom unit with two bathrooms. We highly recommend!

Difficult to get ahold of Vacasa. No local manager. Huntley lodge will not help you or provide anything if you rent through Vacasa unfortunately. No robes!!!

Great Ski in/out location

The location was excellent. Easy walk out of the building to the lifts. Room was just what we needed for a group of 4 adults. More than 4 adults might feel a little tight during the winter with all the ski gear. No issues with the room and we loved having access to the hot tub after skiing. Would definitely stay again. Just a note for the building. Make sure in the winter when you park in the lot to take note of the day they are conducting weekly snow plowing. It will say before you enter the lot. We had to move our car to an alternate lot the night before otherwise they would tow the ticar. No issue doing that but just want to mention.
