Exceptional property in the Alexandria area you are minutes away from hundreds of lakes for fishing, minutes from Carlos winery, great restaurants, or just relax and soak it up in the hot tub swim, fish have a bonfire, enjoy a cozy night by the fireplace, yard games, or stargaze. Wintertime there are 300 plus miles of snowmobile trails. Enjoy up north with only a 2 hour drive from the twin cities. ( checkout the video you will not be disappointed) use of the acreage in the video is not to be accessed only the home, yard, and patio.

Even better than the picures. Very spacious -love the big table for a large group & the loft was perfect for the kids. Really nice showers. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Make sure you learn shuffleboard & teach the kids to play poker & blackjack! Good communication with host too.

Very spacious

This is a great property for a large group. Plenty of room to spread out and have some privacy but also common areas to gather. We did have some trouble cooking due to the lack of pots and pans but overall it was a great stay!

Amazing country lodge!

This lodge will out do any of your expectations, was amazing for my large family and grandkids. If you’re looking at possibly staying here it is a must! The space is amazing and huge, the beautiful morning sunrise was great, and the hot tub is perfect to end your days.

Great property!

We had a greag time. Plenty of space for yard and indoor games. There was a large table big enough for all of the adults. The kids loved the bunk loft! Our only complaint was the kitchen could use a few more essentials (mixing/salad bowls) but otherwise we wojld def. come back!

Spacious and serene

Very beautiful rental with a lot of space to accommodate a large group. Nice amenities like a hot tub! Very clean and comfortable beds. Short drive to many Alexandria area activities and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay

I stayed here with my wedding party for the weekend, 16 of us fit great and had an amazing time. So much space and a great atmosphere to hang out at. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to the area who doesn’t need direct water access and needs to fit lots of people. Great amenities like poker tables, slot machine and hot tub were great add ons

Carlson MN stay

The place was very clean and the hot tub was a hit. The place is very exclusive with only one neighbor. We met them and they were very nice. Lots of room to roam.

Amazing experience

All around the place was great. Everything was simple and easy in the booking process. Rules were laid out very clearly and communication with host was easy. Description of the property and everything it entails is exactly how it said it would be online. Super cozy and fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back if we ever had to stay in the area again.

Beautiful Home

Spacious location with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wonderful outdoor space that allows the family to spread out and take advantage of gathering areas. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking with a full moon and beautiful sunsets. The host was also very responsive from the day we checked in until the day we checked out. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Brutal in the summer -watch out for additional fees

Nice enough place but there is only wall ac and no ac in the master bedroom. The rooms were 80 degrees at night despite having the ac cranked up. Watch out for additional fees to be added on after your stay.

We were blown away by our stay at this Alexandria property - our goal was to find a place to enjoy a weekend with our wedding party. We found this property and were excited to have a place to gather. With all VRBOs you never know what to totally expect, however, when we arrived our expectations were blown out of the water. Everything was beautiful and easy to navigate! Clear communication, easy check-in and check-out. The property is quiet, extremely spacious for parking, sleeping, eating, spending time outside by the fire, spending time inside, you name it. The bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were gorgeous, the kitchen was large, and the upstairs loft was a hit for the guys! The property truly enhanced our wedding weekend - staying together will be a core memory and we are so thankful we chose this property! I can't recommend spending a weekend (or more) away with your friends or family here!

Overall, absolutely great home and property for a large group - we had 8 adults and 5 children. Plenty of seating, rooms, tables, and space to be all together. Nearby stores if you forgot something. However, not ideal for young kids and families that like things clean. We vacuumed and wiped most surfaces upon arrival.Bring toilet paper and paper towels - not enough was provided for our stay. Most kitchen supplies were available, but we didn’t find a strainer (for noodles and such) and no large pots for stovetop.Great kitchen items available: coffee pot, lots of silverware, plates, cooking utensils, decent kitchen knives, multiple crockpots, toaster, and grill! There’s a marble fire table, but we didn’t see a usable wood burning fire pit. Note: very iron rich water. If that’s not the taste for you, bring water.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property and home. No prior reviews so was a little hesitent. Hot tub was broken as well as golf cart. Beautiful closets with no bars, hangers nor dressers. Not enough linens, dishes or basics to eat or make dinners. Owner did send more dishes and linens the night before check out so that will be helpful to the next large family that stays. Hopeful they made the changes we suggested at our expense so the next group will have a great stay.

Spacious Cabin!

Great place to stay with family- loved the hot tub and the size of the cabin. Lots of room to spread out! Just a few areas for improvement that would have made it even better: appliances were wonky. Freezer was broken, microwave didn’t really work. Expired food in the fridge, someone’s dirty clothes in the washing machine, personal items left in showers. Lights in back bedrooms didn’t work. No closet racking was a bit of a pain. Otherwise wonderful home!
