Not what I expected

It was decent but the photos are a bit misleading...outdated with remnants of yesteryear throughout. The roof access is actually outside of the room (with a clothes hanging on a clothes line). The sitting area (with the view) has outside exit is an locked emergency only exit (no access to outdoors). No access to dock. Broke down/non running vehicles in front with old tires thrown into the water. The best things about the property was the actual view and the housekeeper who was so very accommodating and our only contact at the property. Main complaint..security cameras are posted apparently to keep watch of guests coming and going so management can go to guests room to make sure the a/c and ceiling fan are off. I understand conservation but I find this extreme and invasive. Overall, I think personally don't believe it's worth the hype. When we return to Belize, we'll choose other accomodations.

Just what i needed

Ms. Moya is a great host. Had the driver ready for me at the airport and offered to have him take me to the grocery store to get a few things. She even coordinated a personal drive around down town Belize city to take in a few of the sights. It was a nice touch for a nice relaxing night in the city while i waited for my friends to come in the next day. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but the views of the Caribbean ocean from my bedroom and living room were just perfect ! Just a short drive from the airport and downtown too so very convenient. Would definitely recommend

Excellent visit

The owners attended every request about our stay with zeal and passion. They are very knowledgeable about Belize and made arrangements for us that amplified the pleasure of the stay at the property. The water view is beautiful and the roof of the building is a fantastic place to chill. I plan on returning for an other stay and seeing more of Belize!

I cannot recommend the rooftop highly enough

A beautiful and pleasant place to stay a bit off the beaten path. I cannot recommend the rooftop highly enough - started every morning up there with a book and a cup of coffee and ended every day up there with dinner and a beer. Very comfortable, quiet, and clean, just know that you'll have to plan on getting transportation to the city, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. (Zenaida will help).

The roof top terrace has a "million-dollar view"

The roof top terrace has a "million-dollar view"! This makes the value of the rental outstanding. I was glad to be away from the casino which was packed and hurried. Make sure you have breakfast on the roof top. We had it all to ourselves during our rental and it was awesome! Enjoy the peaceful time here.

What a wonderful place!

What a wonderful place! Check in was easy and we were greeted when we got there. Very spacious penthouse with everything we needed. Nice and quiet with a local writen guide to help you with the area. Breakfast was delicious and we got to eat on the rooftop! The view from the room and rooftop were fantastic. They help you with transportation when needed, which was nice because we were heading to the airport the next day. Safe and secure area. It was a great place to spend on our last day of our honeymoon.

expansive view looking out to the northeast so sunrise was terrific

as advertised, expansive view looking out to the northeast so sunrise was terrific. Raymond arranged everything we wanted to do before our arrival so we saw the Mayan ruins, and went ziplining although we skipped the cave floating trip. Both were fantastic. remember belize is still pretty rustic outside of the resorts so if you are not adventurous and need to be pampered this is not for you.

I couldn’t begin to articulate in words how happy I was with my stay in Belize City

I couldn’t begin to articulate in words how happy I was with my stay in Belize City. Particularly at this particular location. We were very impressed with the level of guest services we received. We were picked up from the airport and were offered a private driving service to and from wherever we were going at a very reasonable price. Antony our driver and host was absolutely fantastic. We felt very safe as he took us around to explore. Bernadine and Audrey were both fantastic cooks. It was such a pleasure to be able to have the option of a delicious Belizean breakfast overlooking the sea. I would recommend everyone to book your stay at this hidden gem. I am already making plans to go back. Zenaida, thank you for the lovely stay and it was an absolute pleasure meeting you.

Good location and excellent views of the Carribean

We very much enjoyed our three week stay in Belize. The location of this property outside of Ladyville is close to the airport, which was helpful as we had guests stay. Access to the major highways also made it easy to explore various sites in different parts of the country. The views are exactly as shown in the photos. Zenaida and her assistant Kenroy were most helpful and responsive to requests. There are numerous restaurants and markets within five miles, which facilitated dining and shopping. We had Chef Carlos prepare two dinners when our guests arrived....excellent fresh seafood well prepared. Carlos was a recommendation from Zenaida and we would recommend his services for a memorable in unit dining experience.

Great location and views

We very much enjoyed our three week stay in Belize. The location of the property is close to the airport which was helpful as we had guests during our stay. There are numerous restaurants and markets within five miles, which facilitated dining and shopping. Zenaida and her assistant Kenroy were very responsive to requests and they offered helpful information regarding tours, etc. Chef Carlos, also a recommend from Zenaida, prepared two fresh seafood dinners on nights when guests arrived...would highly recommend...The views of the Caribbean are exactly as shown in the photos and the breezes are most relaxing.
