Sounds of Silence is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 3 bath cabin with hot tub, fenced area, firepit on My Mountain near Blue Ridge, Georgia. It is easy access with paved roads all the way to the cabin. Views are absolutely stunning from the expansive decks. Close to all that Blue Ridge has to offer. Dog Friendly. WIFI and High-speed internet. Fenced Yard. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

Super peaceful and a magical place

Both rental houses have been great and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. We were snowed in and Julie sent us updates on weather and nightly freezing conditions. It is a beautiful area and the houses are great and I am so thankful my 4 legged pups get to travel and experience a trip with us. THANK YOU!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful cabin and views. We especially enjoyed the patio and deck and our dog enjoyed the freedom to roam the enclosed areas. The floors were squeaky but I imagine all cabins have that issue. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was comfortable. We will be back in the spring!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great! Loved the location with the view. I wish that it was listed that the master bedroom doesnt have a door. It didnt bother us but I could see how that could upset some people. The exterior light by the "front door" didnt work. One of the beds upon arrival was literally covered in dog hair. Not the comforters the actual sheets. When putting on white sheets its obvious if there's black dog hair. Was very disappointed in that. Also, hot tub was not filled properly upon arrival. Luckily they were super helpful and let me fill it on my own. There was a lot more positives - it just seems housekeeping can do a much more intentional job.

Perfect Location! So peaceful with fantastic views! Exactly what we needed to get a break from our hectic Atlanta work life! Clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! We truly appreciate being able to bring our fur baby! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Very Nice House

We had to call the manager the first night because we could not find the key. The person was very helpful. The house was very pet friendly. We will be back. Great stay, beautiful views

The property was exactly as pictured! The screened-in porches were amazing, and the place was more than accommodating for our three furchildren that made the trip with us. I loved that there were gates everywhere so we could have them with us on the deck without worrying about them wandering off. The side yard was great, too! The cabin has high ceilings and felt very open in the main level. Love the king bedroom in the loft, and the deck off that room provided a beautiful view. The kitchen was a bit dated, but it still more than met our needs. Recommend you bringing your own spices.

Nice house but very disappointed with management

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed in the Sounds of Silence cabin recently. We found the cabin to have what we needed. We loved the mountain view and sat on the back porch rockers quite a bit enjoying it. The house has three stories with a bedroom on each floor which makes for very uneven temperature. The upper floor bedroom is pretty warm and the bottom floor bedroom very cold. However, the bottom floor bedroom did have a heater that warmed up the room sufficiently at night. The top floor bedroom does not have a door so is basically a loft. Our main concern was with Sliding Rock management. We were charged for damaging one of the blinds and getting scratches on the leather furniture that we did not do. These damages were already there when we arrived. However, since the housekeeper stated these damages were not there after the last guests, we were required to pay for the them. We will not stay at another Sliding Rock Cabin. I suggest that anyone renting any of the Sliding Rock Cabins take photos of anything that is scratched, torn, or in any way damaged and send to the management immediately upon your arrival.

A good trip

So we couldn't let the dogs out without a leash. The back porch had the same design.

Great Cabin and Location

Very clean with everything you need for a great vacation. The management company was very professional. The power went out one morning but was restored very quickly. The property manager came by to check on us to see if we needed anything until the power was restored. I will definitely rent this cabin again or any cabin from this company because I'm sure all of their properties are top notch.

Not to be missed!

Reviewer Comments: Spent an amazing week at "Sounds of Silence" with my hubby and mini-goldendoodle. Too large a property for just us but we will return anyway. The best overall property we have stayed at in North GA!. Immaculate, well appointed, and tastefully decorated (not dripping with every possible bear item available for purchase.) We LOVED the upstairs screened porch right off the master. Thanks for providing firewood, so many cabins only have an electric fireplace. Can't wait to book again next year!

Great vacay with the pups!

Sweet Harley and Beau LOVED the extra tall fenced yard. We have stayed in a number of Sliding Rock Cabins and as always, it was spotless and we were well taken care of. This cabin is very easy to get to Blue Ridge.
