About this place
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located suite. Located downtown just on the edge of midtown, this suite is the perfect location for all your Alaskan adventures. Minutes from both highways, whether you want to go north or south, this location is a perfect landing spot during your travels. We are less than a quarter mile from award-winning trail system citywide, paved and single track trails covering over 120 miles of the city.
The space
The suite is located inside the main house that the host lives in. There is a private entrance (grey door to the right of main entrance) for guests and door to the main house can be locked from both sides with sound proofing measures. There is also a fan in the room that will cancel out all sounds indoor and outdoor but host is pretty quiet.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire suite, this hotel room. There is a king sized bed and a beautiful master bathroom. Guests can also use the BBQ and outdoor seating if desired but these are shared spaces.
During your stay
Host lives on property and is available by phone or text. Host has lived in Alaska for 10 years and has access to a plethora of tourism knowledge. Happy to give advice, suggestions or aid in any adventure related questions.

Josi ( ihr Hund) war super freundlich und zu vorkommend. Die Lage ist ruhig und wenn man gern spazieren geht sind Parks (5min) und Downtown (25min) in der NĂ€he. Besonders hat uns neben der sauberen Wohnung die anschließende Terrasse zum Entspannen gefallen. Nochmal vielen Dank Josi!

If Josi's property is available then scoop it up ASAP!! It is affordable, within walking range to popular dining and shopping options, and easy parking. More importantly, Josi is easily the friendliest host we have ever encountered. She was extremely accomodating and generous throughout the entire stay, would respond promptly to any questions we had, and even let us play with her adorable dog Blue! The room had everything you could need, making it ideal for travelers. Our vacation was filled with amazing sights and memories, but we will forever remember Josi's property, Josi, and Blue!

The property did not live up to expectations. There is no kitchenette, as there is no kitchen sink nor stove or equivalent. The lighting is poor, only one chair, no table. The owners are rather noisy. We came early and had to convince the owners that we need a place to leave our luggage. This certainly was not a property which justified the high marks it seemingly received in the past.

The host was wonderful and friendly. The room itself was beautiful clean and tidy. Some small amount of clutter on the front deck was the only turnoff. Anchorage is very expensive and this was closer to our budget. I would stay here again.

Interesting visit

The host was constantly contacting, some were valid others were controlling. She has a ring doorbell and will get mad if you leave at night even tho we rented it bc it’s downtown, where most of all the events are. (you’re insanely close to the host)The room was nice, the bathroom sink was clogged. She has a fire pit she allowed us to use which was super nice! She’s right by a hill which I hate driving on bc there’s a light that makes you stop at an incline.The bed was super comfy tho

We had a nice stay. The room is small but the bed is comfortable and has black out curtains and the bed is comfortable. The host is very courteous and responsive.

I love to be outside and take advantage of all the things Alaska offers, mountain biking, rafting, hiking, fat tire biking, etc.

The neighborhood is in such a great location to get anywhere, on the south-side of Downtown it is quiet but really easy to get around from.
