BAYDREAM BELIEVER Island getaway in a quiet neighborhood.

Right off Main Street. Watch the Ponies run down the street right from the yard during Pony Penning. Enjoy beautiful sunsets after a day on the beach or exploring the Island. This is a 1970's mobile home that has many updates. Shiny and new isn't what you will find here as we continue to make those updates. But you get an affordable clean rental with a great location and fenced in yard. What you will find is a charming coastal style. Well stocked kitchen for cooking when your not enjoying one of the amazing food trucks and restaurants. Duo coffee maker, Instant pot, 3 window A/C units.(One each in the bedrooms, one in the open living area, none in the bathroom), smart tv's, washer/dryer combo, rain shower head, outdoor gazebo, games, beach items and more. Everything you need to enjoy some Island life!

Check in was super easy andthe host was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, spices, and some specialty appliances. The bed was very soft and comfortable. It was a great place to come home to after a long day on the beach!

Everything went well with ease of checking in. It was just as described and was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. Location was perfect as well as communication with the Host. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to staying again!

We had a great stay with our 10 pound pup! Quiet neighborhood close to everything we needed. Off season is really the best time to visit!

Aug. Getaway

The bat dream was a great stay for our week long trip. It is very close to everything while also having a quiet and private area of your own. The house was very clean and check-in was so simple! Lee is a great host with consistent communication. We will definitely look into staying here again.

Remodeled single wide. Nice accents. Walking distance from the carnival, 1 mile walk to memorial park. Lee was quick to respond.

Just like home

The only difficulty with the stay was dealing with the live chat agent on the app who scared us to death when she couldn’t find our reservation. That’s it! Everything else was perfect. The place is cute and clean and in a safe area. Literally feels so homey and charming. The owner had so many comfy items games and extras that make you feel welcome and like family. She was great to communicate with and I would recommend this rental without hesitation. We fell in love with the area and would definitely stay again.

Family Trip

We had a great stay! We came for a long weekend to visit my parents, who live on the island. Our family has grown, so it’s easier to stay at a rental when we visit. This rental was a 2 minute walk to my parents’ house so it was perfect for us! Unit was clean and you can tell the owners have put time and effort into upgrading the home. We had no issues and we were able to bring one of our smaller pups! Thank you!

Chincoteague getaway

We enjoyed a very quiet neighborhood and the sites all around. Fantastic food at restaurants close by and a grocery store for all we needed. Comfortable beds and all amenities. Would stay there again.

Reasonable stay but disappointing safety

The house didn't have any smoke detectors as is required by Virginia law. We purchased a basic smoke detector to ensure safety while we slept. We left the smoke detector behind and texted a receipt asking for reimbursement, but we never heard anything back. Other than that, the house was adequate and well-matched with the low price.

Our family has been coming to Chincoteague for 23+ years. We dreamed of owning a place. Then an opportunity arose and that dream became reality. It needed lots of work. But it was our piece of the Island. After a year and a half of long hard days and travels back and forth we are ready to share our home. We have many more plans to come. It is a work in progress. But the many updates provide you with that light and beachy feel while enjoying this beautiful island. We love the community, food, nature and especially boating. We hope you enjoy your stay.
