The farmhouse has fast WiFi!

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The farmhouse will make you feel right at home. Has fast WiFi for those that want to connect. There is an older rock patio to enjoy the evenings grilling and maybe a competitive game of mini corn hole. The sweet retreat has the privacy you want and the abundance of surrounding recreation that will make your stay memorable. With 3 queen beds there is room to sleep 6 comfortably. The patio is old and was put in many years ago by grandpa so it has seen better days. Parts of the exterior is in need of some paint it is on the list to get done. I don’t think it takes away from the amazing space. Would love to have you be our guest.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming house in Prairie City. The home was spotless, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well. The location was peaceful yet convenient, making it easy to enjoy the area. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the entire experience even better. We would happily stay here again!

Perfect spot

The farmhouse was the perfect spot to stay; it was clean, close to Prairie City, and had easy access to Malhuer National Forest. Would definitely stay here again!

Stellar Stay!

I've stayed in a few home rentals over the years, but I've never been so blown away by every aspect of a property! Even a cursory glance can see that this home has been cherished and cared for. This is evident right down to the cat that will tell you exactly how to love him. I hope we come back soon!

A Step Back In Time

Wonderful property, excellent host, and an experience worth the travel. The setting really takes you back to a simpler way of life, and the history and beauty of the area is palpable. The location was in the perfect spot to launch adventures, all while having very close access to needed amenities. The host was highly accommodating, courteous and made extra effort to ensure our party was comfortable and had what we needed. We will be back!

Very cute home!

My family and I stay here for 2 nights and we very much enjoyed ourselves! The house is so cute and very clean. We were greeted by a very friendly cat that my 7 year old loved! Pamela has thought of everything to snacks, soap for laundry if needed, which I appreciated very much since my infant had thrown up on some clothes, to toiletries, and more. I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend this property!

Great getaway!

We were looking for a vacation rental that was fairly close to the mountains NE of Prairie City and 3 popped up. This one was perfect! We had family elk hunting and camping up in the mountains but felt like we needed to stay in town due to having a 3 month old baby. The beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked great and the house is fully equipped with everything one would need. And I mean that! One morning while we were there it snowed pretty good and the power went out for a few hours. There was a good working flash light and great communication from the owner. We would stay again and recommend this rental!

Very fun 3 day weekend!

This was a great place to stay for a short getaway, though you could easily make it a long term stay with all the amenities Pamela offers. The whole house is stocked with everything you could ask for. We brought our Lab with us who is obsessed with playing fetch which was a little tricky with the layout of the fencing but it was absolutely no problem. I just thought somebody might want to know if they were to bring a pet. Communication was excellent. Pamela was very responsive with any questions I had. We all agreed that we would absolutely stay there again if it was available the next time we were in town.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This is an older farmhouse in the countryside. It has the country charms, floors and doors might make some noise. You get that snuggled in feeling with the low ceilings. Each sleeping area has its own theme. There is magnolia room, poppy room that both have NEW Memory foam mattress. The Cowboy room is set up in the second living area(den).The front living is country farmhouse with the formal dining. The long spacious kitchen has plenty of counter space and all the cooking supplies you would need. There is a eat-in breakfast nook at the end. The laundry room has a large sink and washer and dryer. The house is on a well and septic so need to be mindful of water usage during your stay.
