The place was beautiful and cozy!! Location was just a few blocks down from where our rodeo was!

Nice little surprise in downtown Vernon. The common area is very large and accommodating and nicely decorated. One of the bedrooms is only large enough for a bed... more a bed-closet than a bedroom, but otherwise a really nice property.

Family Get Together

My brothers and sister got together for a weekend in the town where we grew up. Our downtown apartment was perfect for us. There was plenty of room and Amber made sure that we had everything we needed.

Bad Experience

Host and I were in contact the week before our stay and knew we were excited for our stay. We got into town after traveling from South Carolina with no check in instructions. We contacted the host through VRBO messages and calling the contact number, we didn't get a response. Contacted VRBO and they couldn't get in touch with the host either. I totally understand things happen but it would've been nice to know so we could've made arrangement. Totally through a wrench in our plans and VRBO doesn't book same day stays.

I booked this via Expedia for my family to stay in for my wedding. Expedia listed the check-in for 3pm, after I booked, I saw the check-in change to 4pm. On the day of my reservation, I hadn’t heard anything from the host so I reached out just before 4, nothing. I emailed , called and messaged via the VRBO website. I started to panic because I had seen a review that someone’s reservation completely fell through. Almost a hour and a half later, I received a 6 digit code with no other info. When my family arrived the door was unlocked. The apartment was very clean and thoughtfully decorated. My family loved the apartment! Later that night my brother went out and couldn’t get in with the code provided so he had to wake my mother from bed to come downstairs to unlock the door. The next day after my wedding, they weren’t able to get in. We repeatedly entered the code provided and it wouldn’t take. I contacted the host and she kept trying to give me directions on how to input the code and nothing. Then she told me to use a key that was upstairs on the table to open the door. We were literally locked out, I was in my wedding dress trying to get my family back in. My brother found a single key on a table outside and tried it, it worked! After several messages exchanged and a great deal of frustration, she remembered that it didn’t take a code but rather a key. Luckily a stranger didn’t find the key and let themselves in. Great place, POOR COMMUNICATION!!

Easy Process!

We drove up to Vernon from Ft. Worth for the weekend. My fiance is from Vernon, and most of her family is still here. Her parents were renewing their wedding vows for their 50th. The plan was to stay overnight at a family member's house, but i think there was an accidental double booking lol. Well, long story short, we looking for a place to stay last minute! I was lucky enough to find a vacancy here and got it reserved for 4 adults and 2 teen girls. The owner, Amber, was very courteous and welcoming, and overall just very pleasant to do business with! The apartment was spotless, updated, and spacious! I would absolutely book another stay in the future!
