The home overlooks Flathead Lake and sits on 14 acres surrounded by federally protected land providing endless adventure.

Walk to bars, restaurants and live music in minutes. Swim/kayak in the lake across the road or launch a boat at the nearby State Park plus much more!

The space
Almost entirely newly renovated, this rustic modern Montana home perches above Flathead Lake. The views and sunsets from the property are absolutely stunning . After a day of exploration, take in the views from the private patio while you enjoy a meal you prepared in the fully equipped, gourmet kitchen. Or instead, walk down the steep driveway to one of the neighborhood restaurants for a local meal.

The land is rugged, natural Montana terrain. This is an amazing place for families and children to experience, however the surrounding area is not safe for toddlers or young children to wonder around unsupervised. Not only are parts uneven and steep, but there has been a black bear (beautiful and non-aggressive) and at night, cougars, spotted on the property in the past.

There are ruins from an old stone homestead in the front yard and the once indoor fireplace still stands and is available to use. This fireplace is a great place to gather in the evenings for marshmallow roasting and good conversation. Who doesn't love an outdoor fire? We already set up some chairs and a table for you.

We own over 120' of private lake access right in front of our house across the road. There is also a public access point for our neighborhood just a few hundred feet down the road which is a great place to put in a kayak or SUP. We do not own a dock. IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE WATER FOR SWIMMING ON OUR PROPERTY, ONE MUST DESCEND A RETAINING WALL MADE FROM BOULDERS. THERE IS NO RAILING SO IT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR SOME PEOPLE.
ALTHOUGH SWIMMING IS COMPLETELY DOABLE FROM OUR LAKEFRONT, IT IS NOT SUPER CONVENIENT TO ACCESS. IF SWIMMING AND WATER ACCESS IS A PRIORITY, THIS MAY NOT BE THE BEST PROPERTY FOR YOU. There are several other options for swimming in the area however.
From the back of the house, there are hiking trails that lead to lakes. These trails are very private as the state lands surrounding our land are almost impossible to access from anywhere other than our property. You will need to bring bear spray.

The master bedroom suite has beautiful views of the lake and was just renovated with a beautiful modern bathroom.

There is a bunk room with 2 bunk beds each equipped with a trundle bed sleeping a total of 6. We also have a sleeper sofa in that room that could easily sleep an adult or 2 small children.
There is a very comfortable queen bed in the cozy 3rd bedroom. This bedroom also houses the washer and dryer. The 2nd bathroom is a full bathroom and situated in a small hallway between this room and the bunk room.

The living/dining/kitchen are all together in an open plan living space with spectacular lake views. There is a smart TV with streaming services such as Netflix and a DVD player with lots of movies to choose from. We also have plenty of board and card games there to keep you busy if that is your thing.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a wine refrigerator and hand mixer for baking a cake! We thought of everything! We even have some of the most common spices on hand for to make it easier to cook your favorite dishes while you are here.

Spend an evening or 2 down at the outdoor fireplace making s'mores or roasting hotdogs. If you prefer a fire inside, you can have that too in the gas fireplace right in the middle of the living space.

The space is a great layout for large families traveling together or two families wanting to vacation together. There is so much space outside to enjoy and so much to do, but this luxury home base will be just what you need when you finish your day. There is nothing more relaxing and mesmerizing than watching the sun set over the lake with a refreshing beverage at the end of the day!
