So much is within an easy walk of this first-floor condo at The Hedges, from a lovely community swimming pool to a broad expanse of ocean beach. In this beautiful pocket of Hilton Head Island, you'll be less than a mile from Coligny Beach Park, the Cordillo Tennis Courts, fantastic shopping and dining at Coligny Plaza, and the new Lowcountry Community Park.

A haven for beach-goers, tennis enthusiasts, and golfers alike, this condo greets you back at home from your daily excursions with a cool blast of central air conditioning. You'll have both a private, all-in-one washer/dryer and community laundry facilities at your disposal, making it easy to refresh your swimsuits, beach towels, and tennis whites.

The living area is an open and social space, bringing together a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and a living room with dual sofas and a TV (with cable and streaming capability). Both bedrooms have TVs and desk workspaces of their own, so you can always log onto the complimentary WiFi in peace. Each bedroom is also paired with its own half-bath, with a tub/shower shared between them.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Very conveniently located- to the beach , Sea Pines and Coligny. Super clean and updated very recently. Quiet area and easy to find.

The condo is beautifully renovated with a stylish design. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave and Keurig, and the mattress was very comfortable. Bedding was fresh and clean, and the bathroom towels were thick, fluffy, and folded beautifully. Toiletries were provided and smelled wonderful, adding a thoughtful touch. The unit was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, and the location is another highlight is just a pleasant 10-minute walk to the beautiful beach.Unfortunately, several issues diminished the stay. The only living room window is completely blocked by a tall hutch, leaving the space dark and enclosed. Having breakfast with all the lights on felt like being in a bunker, which was disappointing given the otherwise inviting décor.The internet was another frustration. Instead of a private, in-unit WiFi, it relied on a shared login system requiring repeated sign-ins with weak, unreliable service. For guests needing dependable internet, this is a significant drawback.Most concerning was the presence of large roaches. While the unit itself was very clean, encountering pests of this size is unacceptable in a property of this caliber.Overall, while the condo has appealing amenities, stylish updates, and an excellent location, the lack of natural light, inadequate internet, and pest issues are fundamental concerns. Until addressed, I cannot recommend this property.

Great Location, but Several Issues with the Property

We recently stayed at this condo and while the proximity to the beach was fantastic, there were several issues that affected our stay. Upon arrival, the door was jammed and difficult to open and close. Though the maintenance team eventually addressed the issue, we were not notified when they entered the property, which was a bit concerning. The condo had a persistent musty odor, and we found bugs on the kitchen counters, which was disappointing. Additionally, there were no basic necessities provided, such as an iron, ironing board, or hair dryer, and one of the bathrooms had no soap. While the location is great, the lack of basic amenities and some maintenance issues made our stay less comfortable than expected.
