The VRBO was as lovely as advertised from the cleanliness, the views, the amenities, the location were all that I expected! And the communication through out the journey was wonderful!

Apartment was clean and had several household items available for any needs you might have for your stay. Good proximity to Acadia for an easy drive to go hiking!

Excellent location and beautiful views. Walk to SWH and top floor deck with amazing panoramic views of the harbor. Beds are comfy, great storage, amazing kitchen, and lots of seating. But the best part is the little touches- shampoo: conditioner in the bathrooms, soaps and cleaning products under the sink, plenty of extra TP and paper towels, coffee snd tea! And a washer / dryer too! That made packing much easier since we could just wash and wear and not have to over pack. Communications with host were excellent and easy, clear and helpful. As a family with two collages aged kids, it was spacious and comfy, and we all had time and space to relax or hang out together. Will return!

Loved this place, perfect for hikes and bikes and exploring the area. Lots of stairs but gave us a good workout when staying on the top floor! Host was quick to respond. Would rent again!

Such a perfect rental, literally every single detail was perfect! We could walk everywhere, had a view of the sea and harbor, perfectly appointed kitchen. Truly a flawless experience! Can't wait to visit again.

It was unseasonably hot during our stay. The single A/C unit (window installed) couldn’t keep the entire unit cool. There was also little breeze so keeping the windows open was not the solution. Again, it was unseasonably hot. Climbing 53 stairs got the heart pumping. We knew this going in. We would rent this unit again.

Great Trip to Southwest Harbor

The condo was so cute! The kitchen was well stocked but we did not really cook much during this visit. The beds were comfy. The view was outstanding and I love how close we were to the shops and restaurants, literally a 3 minute walk. We would absolutely stay there again!

Great stay

The property was new, well decorated and very clean. It is a walk up as they say, but not a bad climb. And it’s nice having parking right outside the door. And it’s an easy walk right into Southwest harbor for shops and restaurants. Owners responded very quickly to our questions. Would stay again.

Great stay in Southwest Harbor

This listing was everything as advertised. Nice amenities and was very clean. We happened to be there during likely some of the hottest days of the year so the window AC unit didn’t help much in the bedrooms, but place had plenty of fans keep the unit cool. Enjoyed the views and the town is just a short walk to anything you could need. Easy to get to either Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Recommended!

Great first time visit to Maine

Nicely decorated and clean top floor apartment, with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. It would have been nice to have a/c in the bedrooms, but the arctic breeze fans worked ok and we had a nice breeze thru the window. Great location, with local restaurants and shops down the street, and Bar Harbor only a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive and considerate and this was the easiest checkout we've ever had. We would definitely stay here ahain!

Lovely Location

Bright and airy condo on the top floor with sweeping views off the deck- just a short drive from Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. We visited in April before the season really kicks off, so many shops and restaurants were on limited seasonal hours or not yet open, but the location was so peaceful, the space was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the host was extremely responsive when we couldn’t get the showers hot and he had a technician out to take care of it within a few hours while we explored the park 2 moms with our almost-grown high school senior children had a terrific stay, made wonderful memories, and would definitely recommend..

Great Condo!

We were impressed with the little things that were included, like coffee, Pam spray, salt/pepper and laundry detergent. Having a place to put groceries other than the top of the refrigerator and countertops, would be a consideration for improvement. The quick walk into the quiet town provided a wonderful location. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Wonderful stay at the Admiral Quarters. Between the hiking and the 3 floors of stairs our legs definitely got a workout. Great view of Southwest Harbor from back deck. Short walk to sports bar and a great breakfast cafe down the street. 40 min drive to Bar Harbor which we went to twice, but we loved the traditional NE feel of Southwest Harbor. A few great traditional lobster houses close by in SWH and nearby Bass Harbor. Only wish the unit came with a blender and pitcher for iced tea. Bathrooms were clean and all appliances were in good condition. We stayed 6 nights, which was perfect.

Very comfortable and cozy

Recently renovated Condo. Stayed with my husband and 18 and 20 year old sons. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to but it’s worth it for the high wooden ceilings that are beautiful. The view was nice but unfortunately we had foggy weather the 2 days we were there. Not too far from Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. About a 20 minute drive. The Next Level sports bar across the street was convenient. The condo is in a quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable. I did feel a little self conscious of the quiet time rule from 10 pm to 8 am since we were on the top floor. Not sure if a family with rambunctious kids would want to stay there but perfect if kids are calm and not running around in the house.

We really enjoyed being able to walk to a variety of restaurants from the property during our stay. The view was great from the balcony although the balcony itself was a bit rough (nails/screws sticking up so needed shoes on to be out there). Parking was never an issue at the property. The seam in the flooring from the kitchen to the living room was annoying as we tripped on it numerous times.

What a great place! Loved being within walking distance to a couple restaurants, bakery, lobster boats/sailing, playground. The renovations on this unit are great; vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, stylish, comfortable furniture including the bed! This unit is at the top of the complex so prepare to lug your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Our first night was pretty toasty (day temp was mid 70’s - bedrooms can get warm); definitely had to get used to utilizing the 4 floor fans and 1 window unit rather than having central AC. Had all the supplies we needed in the kitchen. A couple beach towels would have been nice. There was a pack of playing cards which was so helpful with our kids. Overall, we would definitely recommend!

Beautiful unit with great view of the harbor. Exactly as described, even the flights of stairs. View was well worth the climb. Everything you could possibly need, the owner thought of. Highly recommend this unit.
