The space
Our house features a modern farmhouse look, with an open concept. Plenty of space for hosting multiple guests.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire 2 acre fenced, wooded property.

Other things to note
Two full hook-up, 50 amp campsites are available to guests who rent our house. The campsites would be perfect to add multiple families that could also share the house. The fee is $75 per night per campsite, paid separately after booking the house. No additional guest fee's would apply for campsites. Campsites will not be rented separately from house. Only those who rent the house would be able to rent the campsites.

Awesome property with a great host in a perfect hidden location. You pull into a storage area and go through an electronic gate to enter the property—it felt a little James Bond–ish. The home had everything we needed, and the kids loved it. Plus, it’s right next to a restaurant with pretty good pizza. We’ll definitely be back!

Very Private

We stayed there for my sons college fishing tournament. The house was close to Moors Resort and Marina which was what we needed. It was very clean and a safe location.

Very private and tranquil location. The house was very simple, contemporary and I'm not sure we would have asked for anything more or different for our family. The host was very gracious and communicative and this was our 2nd year staying at this particular property. We hope to stay at the Great Outdoors again next year!!

Great time except one thing.

We loved the house and our time with family. We played lots of cards and counted the number of deer we saw. Our only issue was that it said 2 king beds and there was only one.

This property is in a great location. The owner was extremely helpful. It had good amenities. I like that the hot tub was covered and screened in with a tv. Overall wonderful experience!

Great house

The house is beautiful and very clean its in a very private location. Very nice hot tub and screened in room that the hot tub is in. Lots of wild life moving around the property. It is close to about everything you would need or want.

Nice getaway

Very clean, private, well maintained, organized. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. The teens loved going out to hot tub. Appreciate the games and puzzles. Spent some time shopping in Paducah. Overall very peaceful and relaxing. Great hosts.

Very nice and simple yet with attention to detail

This was a very nice property with a great, private location. I'm not sure I would have changed anything about our stay and we are looking forward to booking this property again. this was our 6th year to come to Jonathan Creek for some fishing and this house was a big reason this year was our favorite yet. The location truly felt like a getaway for our family and we were thankful to have tried "The Great Outdoors". Hopefully we'll see you next year!!

Great property

A couples get away weekend was perfect at this lovely home nestled on a quiet gated property. We enjoyed relaxing evenings soaking in the hot tub in a separate building just steps from the home. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The property was very clean. The owner checked in with us once during our stay. One restaurant close to the property is seasonal and we found wasn't open once we arrived. Not a big deal, but call before you go. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing and Quiet Secluded Getaway

This home was perfect for our family to gather to celebrate a family birthday. Quietly nestled in the woods with everything you need. Enjoy coffee on the front porch or back deck an we saw plenty of deer, a buck and other wildlife. Even though in a remote area - the WIFI signal was awesome! Home is brand new and finished beautifully. The hot tub is in a separate little building offset the house, with a TV, porch swing, sink & grill. Firepit with plenty of firewood. We were very happy with our stay at The Great Outdoors.

Peace and quiet

Very quiet and secluded. We had a nice peaceful weekend. Saw lots of deer and a wide variety of birds. Definitely migrating through. The Hot Tub was amazing. No problems with Temp and excellent jets. We'll definitely be planning to return. It is in the middle of nowhere. I'll pack more groceries next time.🙂🙂

Great space for family gathering

Very clean and well appointed. We ended up with rainy spring weather, but even though we had 4 children ages 4-9 yrs, there were many games and puzzles available as well. They loved the hot tub. And when screen time came around, there were TVs for all ages.As adults, we enjoyed the 2 distinct living room areas which allowed us to visit without the children right at our feet. It is secluded and away from "towns", so bring most of what you think you will need in terms of groceries and toiletries and it will save you road time. There is a convenient Dollar General (of course :)) right around the corner.The host checked on us near daily, especially with our weather. Very easy process.

Beautiful and peaceful property

We had our family and our older children’s friends join us for a lake weekend. This was the perfect spot! We loved the space it provided to hang out around the fire pit and of course we made smores. The hot tub on the back porch was a hit as well. When it rained we had plenty of space to move inside and continue the fun with card games. I did lots of cooking and the kitchen was a great size for “family style” set up. I enjoyed sitting on the porch with my coffee. This was a wonderful lake house with space for outside and inside fun. It gave us easy access to get on the lake for boating. We will absolutely stay here again! The owner was wonderful to work with and answered all our questions. Don’t miss out on this rental.
