Villa de luxe face à l'océan, 2-6 chambres, Hermanus Cliffpath

Nous serons heureux de vous accueillir, vous et vos amis, dans notre villa récemment rénovée au rez-de-chaussée de la villa face à l'océan à Hermanus. Il a été construit à l'origine en 1924 et nous avons essayé de garder l'ancien charme. Nous avons une vue imprenable sur la Walker Bay, célèbre dans le monde entier pour son observation des baleines. Cette opinion a été rejetée par le London Times (24 déc.2011). 10 meilleures vues d'hôtel au monde. Nous pouvons facilement accueillir jusqu'à 12 personnes dans nos 6 chambres doubles avec salle de bains et avons un bon espace pour socialiser avec une cuisine ultramoderne face à la mer. Cependant, pour accueillir des groupes plus petits, vous pouvez louer la villa avec seulement deux chambres. Lorsque vous nagez dans notre piscine d'eau salée surélevée et la villa a un accès direct au célèbre sentier de la falaise.

Perfect venue

The location is absolutely ideal - direct access to path and close to all amenities. The big table and open-plan living areas is fantastic for a large group, yet there is enough space created for a quiet corner in which to read! Everything is comfortable, organised and convenient, with helpful, friendly hosts and caretakers!

The perfect location to relax, spot whales & dolphins from the kitchen table and breathe in the crisp Hermanus sea breeze! Lovely, spacious house for entertaining a big group.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL with a VIEW!!

LOVED the view with whales in the ocean! 🐳GREAT location for a short walk 👟to a QUAINT town with GREAT food and loved the shopping for gifts !! The house was PERFECT!! So happy we chose this house!! Thanks Eva for letting us rent your home - the only drawback is that we couldn’t stay longer!!!

Meine Familie, unsere Freunde haben sich alle sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Die warmherzigen und offenen Vermieter waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit zu uns. DANKE Das Haus selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen, denn vom Geschirr bis zurm Waschmittel war alles für die ersten Tage enthalten. Das Haus liegt ideal für Ausflüge in das Heemel en Arde Valley, zum Hafen und nach Hermanus kann man laufen. Die Aussicht ist grandios, und wir haben Wale, Delfine und eine große Anzahl von Vögel schön beobachten können. Im Haus findet man immer ein ruhiges Plätzchen zum lesen. Die komplett ausgestattete Küche und der große Esszimmertisch sind ideal für Familien und Freunde mit denen man gemütlich kochen, essen und zusammen sitzen möchte. Es gibt Bücher, Magazine und Infos zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Parkmöglichkeit ist ausreichend und gesichert. Wir alle haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind entspannt, zufrieden und glücklich nach Hause gefahren. Ein Urlaub der uns allen noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird, und so sollte es sein.

Wonderful place!

We spent two nights with 9 adults & 2 kids and must say that we enjoyed the house and its interior. There is quite some space even for such amount of people. The kitchen is well equiped and overall I can definitely recommend that house. It has a direct access to the Cliff Path. "Downtown" is 10-15mins walking distance and shops are easy reachable by car. The communication with the owners and the housekeepers is easy and worked just fine.

Stunning cliff-side property with best views in Hermanus!

Our group of friends from all over the world spent a wonderful few days in this gorgeous property perched directly on the cliff path in Hermanus. The villa is spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished and decorated in a contemporary style with distinctive Scandinavian flair, reflecting the roots of the owners. It was a perfect base for our large group of friends in all weather conditions: on the cool rainy day of our stay, all relaxed in the comfy lounge around the cosy wood fireplace in the lounge. On the beautiful sunny days, the pool, garden and terraces provided options for all. Highlight was a great braai in the garden on our final day -- felt just like home! But the kitchen is also ideally laid out and equipped for indoor meals and breakfast as well. Bedrooms are well-appointed and comfortable, offering privacy and retreat to those seeking it. The location directly on the cliff path with stunning views of the town, sea and harbour, providing easy access to all, could not be better anywhere in Hermanus. The owners are incredibly helpful: not just extremely hospitable and welcoming, but really going above and beyond the call of duty in helping out with special requests, advice and pre-arrival information -- truly among the very best hosts we have experienced anywhere in the world. I cannot recommend this property highly enough for a family or group of friends visiting Hermanus -- it's just perfect in every way! Thanks for everything, Eva and Magnus!

Space, comfort and the most amazing position

Perched on the edge of the Hermanus cliff path with views right out over the bay and yet only a 10 to 15 minute walk into the shops and restaurants of Hermanus you will be hard pressed to find a better location. We woke the first morning to an enormous pod of dolphins chasing around the bay in front of us, a lucky break as this was not the whale season. The Villa is very well equipped with plenty of space and a nice pool. There is a steady flow of walkers etc along the cliff path at the front but space within the courtyard for plenty of privacy. The owners who are charming are sometimes in residence on the top storey but go out of their way not to disturb you. We only took the house with two bedrooms but the flexibility to add up to another four ensuite rooms means we hope to come back with the full family as soon as we get the chance.

The best location on the cliff path close to the harbour end of town. A really spacious, well appointed house with good space to relax indoors and the perfect spot to whale watch. All bedrooms were well appointed too

Perfect position away from hubbub of town but overlooking the serene bay which had whales swimming

I would have liked double beds not twin beds in the front left hand bedroom but that was the only negative aspect of the entire place. Its position is perfect with direct access onto the cliff path. Its decor is beautiful and the house was well equipped with all that we needed

Great and very spacious villa on perfect location

19onWestcliff is an amazing villa. It is very spacious and it has everything you need. From large living area, great dining place to perfect pool and sitting area outside. It is very near hermanus and you can just use the Cliffpath which is a nice walk to the city center. We stayed with 4 people in the main house. But if you come with more there are several extra bedrooms in the complex which can be rented (looked very new with seperate bathroom etc..) Overall a great experience staying at the villa. Defenitly recommend it for a stay at Hermanus.

Pros: - Beautiful house with lots of space. - We saw dolphins and whales breaching ... From the dining room table! - Host is very considerate and responsive. Cons: - Layout is a little awkward; you have to go outside (even if its raining) to access 4 of the rooms. Also, access is denied to the gorgeous second floor patio, which could have been a major plus. - Internet was out during our stay, but the host reimbursed us for related data charges.

What a place, what a view !!!

This property has overwhelming, more than 180° degree panorama views over Hermanus , the mountains and the ocean. It is located directly at the ocean front, in season you can watch the wales from your window ! It has direct access to the famous beach walk. Restaurants and town center are in walking distance. Safe residential area. The house is very spacious, even when 12 people stay there. Big open kitchen area, ideal for bigger parties. Very tasteful modern interior with all amenities you could ask for. There is a large pool with a wind and sun protected patio for al fresco meals. The main house has 2 bedrooms, 4 more bedrooms are in a ground floor annex. Each room has en-suite bathroom. Secure parking within the property. The hosts are very friendly and open to your personal concerns. This place guarantees for an unforgettable stay even for the most discerning traveler. We certainly will come back !!!!!

Stunning views and space

The house is beautiful and well laid out with everything we needed. Flowers and wine welcomed us home that first evening and that we really wonderful. The house is situated right on the cliff path where we spent many an hour walking and viewing the sea and whales. It was a magical few days!

We had a wonderful time watching the whales, eating in wonderful restaurants (our favorite was the Pear Tree) and shopping. The house had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this house for a family or several couples.

Elegant, clean, perfect location!

A perfect location a few steps from the Ocean and a 5 minute walk to the center of Hermanus. Very nice interior decoration and property very well maintained. Take a wonderful morning walk along the shore line and finish your exercise with a swim in the Ocean, or in the pool if you prefer. If you are a golfer, make sure to play at the Hermanus Golf Club which is located within a five minute drive from the villa. You will have a wonderful time and there are clubs to rent if you so wish. I will surely recommend friends, relatives and unknown persons to spend time in this Ocean front villa.
