Sandra and Kurt are incredible hosts! I have stayed here 3 times and cannot say enough positive comments! Great layout, spacious, stocked, clean, perfect location, wonderful patio, and more! Thank you for a perfect stay!

Excellent

Everything about this property was just as advertised in the listing - and probably even better. It's a great location for things in mid-town and even getting to the foothills is easy enough. Easy to walk to campus. Uber drivers are readily available. Having the garage was clutch as I wouldn't want to leave my car on the street. Sam Hughes neighborhood is a cool neighborhood to walk around and explore. The house was clean and well stocked. We broke a wine glass and let the owner know and it was no big deal. The outdoor space was super cozy and nice. We didnt use it as we were busy and it was a bit chilly. Would definitely recommend

UofA final senior Mom’s weekend

This was our second year at this fabulous house, celebrating our wildcats! The hosts are the best! House is so clean, well equipped, and comfortable! The yard is spectacular! Coming back for graduation with the family. Can’t wait! Thank you, Kurt and Sandra!

Large, well-appointed, spotless house. Great for a group. On-site parking is ideal for smaller vehicles, think Toyota Camry size. One thing to note, not all rooms are in the main house. The 5th bedroom and one of the full baths make up a studio unit above the garage (long flight of stairs). The neighborhood seemed quiet & safe day and night. There are sidewalks for easy walking. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Great location and great hosts. Highly recommend.

Great house & location

The owners were great with communication. The house was very nice, clean, and well appointed. They have thought of everything. We were there to visit our son and attend a U of A game, so for that the location was amazing; we were able to walk!

Fantastic Home

There were 9 of us in town for a 90th Birthday celebration, and although we were about 25 minutes away, we still had some time to enjoy the house, which was absolutely wonderful in every way possible. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable and all the amenities were greatly appreciated. Fantastic kitchen with everything we needed and more. We will book again for the next family trip to Tucson.

Alumni reunion

5 UA grads getting together for a weekend in Tucson. Great location in Sam Hughes neighborhood. Easily walkable to campus for games. Great house with plenty of space and outdoor areas. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Experience at the 1st Place

This was our favorite VRBO ever and was perfect for Thanksgiving with six adults. The location in the Sam Hughes neighborhood was super convenient and close to everything we needed for a four-day holiday stay. The house was warm and welcoming, well-decorated, and well-furnished. The layout of the house allowed for the entire group to gather in several places, including the charming back patio, or to talk in pairs, or curl up in a corner away from the group. The kitchen was equipped better than many homes and Sandra even offered to buy spices if they didn’t have something we needed. Thankful for the laundry room, the garage, and the cute bedroom above the garage with a separate bath and kitchenette—all were put to great use. Sandra and Kurt were responsive before and during our stay. Great hosts.

Gathering of old friends

Met in Tucson to see the U of A football game and enjoy this wonderful city. Our host and accommodations were perfect!
