Fantastique appartement spacieux au coeur de Glasgow.

Situé dans un bùtiment emblématique de grÚs rouge de Glasgow, l'appartement West George Street propose un hébergement élégant aux clients exigeants, combinant le meilleur des tailles de chambres traditionnelles avec un design moderne.

Les gares centrales de Queen Street et de GLA sont Ă  moins de 5 minutes Ă  pied (la navette de l'aĂ©roport de Glasgow s'arrĂȘte Ă©galement Ă  la gare de Queen Street). Pour ceux qui voyagent en voiture, le rĂ©seau autoroutier est facilement accessible.

L'accĂšs aux autres parties de la ville est facile: le mĂ©tro Buchanan St est Ă  100 mĂštres. Pour les clients qui envisagent de voir plus d'Écosse, avec les stations principales si proches, le Loch Lomond, Stirling, Édimbourg ou la cĂŽte Ayrshire sont Ă  moins d'une heure de voyage.

L'immeuble est accessible par une porte d'entrée sécurisée et l'appartement est situé au deuxiÚme étage, avec ascenseur ou accÚs par escalier.

L'appartement est entrĂ© par un couloir spacieux et toutes nos chambres sont extrĂȘmement bien proportionnĂ©es, avec des plafonds Ă  double hauteur et de grandes fenĂȘtres. Le salon a un grand canapĂ© et deux fauteuils ainsi qu'une table Ă  manger + quatre chaises. TĂ©lĂ©vision numĂ©rique par cĂąble (Ă©cran large), DVD et chaĂźne Hi-Fi sont disponibles pour votre divertissement. Une connexion Internet et WiFi gratuite est disponible pour les clients.

Les chambres sont impressionnantes et dĂ©corĂ©es avec beaucoup de goĂ»t avec des meubles de la plus haute qualitĂ©. La chambre 1 a deux lits jumeaux, la chambre 2 un lit king-size. Les deux chambres ont du sol au plafond, des portes-fenĂȘtres et des balcons extĂ©rieurs.

La cuisine lumineuse et contemporaine est entiÚrement intégrée, avec des appareils haut de gamme et tous les accessoires dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour manger à la maison.

La salle de bain moderne avec douche Ă  l'italienne complĂšte le logement.

Il y a un parking limité (payant) dans la rue à l'extérieur du bùtiment ainsi que plusieurs parkings publics trÚs proches.

Fantastic downtown location. Close to tours, trains and amazing sights. Raymond went out of his way to accommodate our arrival and stocked the apartment with all essentials that we required. Very comfortable stay. I highly recommend and if I am back in Glasgow I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful property.

Great location!

Very comfortable stay in City Centre with loads of charm. Our very friendly host greeted us at the flat and showed us around the place to make sure we knew where everything was and how things worked. If we had a problem with something he was just a quick call away. I would definitely stay again!

The apartment was perfect as was the location. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. It can be a little loud on the weekend but that goes with the location. The bedrooms have an extra layer of sliding glass windows that significantly help block out the noise of Glasgow nightlife so sleep wasn't sacrificed. It was easy to walk to the train station with luggage when we went on an excursion up north. I would stay again if ever in Glasgow.

Perfect stay

The apartment was perfect. It’s close to the train station and is surrounded by restaurants. Raymond actually met us at the apartment when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay in Glasgow and staying at the apartment made it more enjoyable.

Fantastic apartment in heart of great area of city

Loved this apartment with ample room for all four of us to gather around and visit with each other. Great location. Only negative is outside noise on street due to a bar across the street. Otherwise so convenient to everything. Raymond is a most helpful host - helped us with questions before the trip and gave us insightful thoughts when he checked us in. He is top notch! His place is comfortable - would definitely stay here again.

Glasgow Gem

The apartment was just as described online- comfortable, warm and welcoming. In addition the host was very responsive to inquiries before and during travel always adjusting his schedule to accommodate our changing itinerary. The location did not disappoint being close to public transport and loads of good restaurants and shopping. All in all a great stay.

Lovely apartment in centrally located historic building

Raymond is a lovely host! He greeted us at the apartment, accommodating our arrival schedule. I love staying in historical buildings, and this apartment was so pleasant. Within easy walking distance: 100s of restaurants, groceries, department stores, shopping, historical sites, bus terminal, train terminal. Couldn't ask for more.

Glorious Glasgow Stay

The property was amazing. Immaculate, superbly appointed, comfortable, quiet, right in the heart of the city center. The owner was so gracious; he greeted us, showed us around, had ample information in print for our stay, if needed, gave us suggestions as to where to go for a stroll or a meal, and even provided breakfast for us. It was a stunning property and a glorious stay. We will return!

Great Time in Glasgow

We are a party of three adults. Check in was great, so nice to have the owner meet you and show you all the appliances etc. West George Street would be the best located apartment we have used in a large city. It is so comfortable, near transport, shops, museums and restaurants and everything you could need on hand. We will hope it is available the next time we visit Glasgow.

Amazing!!!

This apartment is perfectly located near the Pedestrian area of Glasgow. Spent 4 nights here and it was absolutely what we needed! Loved every single thing about it...decor, layout, location!! Raymond was extremely helpful and attentive, checking in on us via email just to make sure we were getting along ok . Cant recommend this property enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Glasgow!!

Beautiful Glasgow flat

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful Georgian flat. It is immaculately finished and furnished with great views out both sides. We particularly enjoyed chatting with the owner, who met us for check in and gave us a bit of the building's back story as well suggestions for food and sights (there's lots of both nearby). It's located in the heart of the city. No need for a car.

Great centrally located apartment with wonderful host!

Apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Both bedrooms are spacious, kitchen is well equipped, and separate living/dining area is great for hanging out. Location is steps away from both train stations, lots of restaurants, and the Royal Concert Hall. Raymond is a wonderful host, with great touches such as his very detailed welcome e-mail, a welcome basket and fresh cut flowers in the kitchen, and all types of area information. He personally met us upon arrival and was there for our check-out. If we're ever in Glasgow again we look forward to staying at the West George Street Apartment.

Convenient Location for Glasgow Stay

As advertised, Raymond's home was a beautiful home conveniently located in downtown Glasgow - with easy walking distance to shopping, trains, and so much more. Raymond was a gem meeting us at check-in and walking us through the property - including all the great amenities provided - like tea, coffee, milk, cereal, and biscuits - which was a very welcoming touch. My only complaint - which I can't fault the owner on - is the amount of clubs/pubs that surround the area and the late-night loud noise that comes with it. Something to keep in mind if you're there on a weekend. Thanks, Raymond! Hopefully, we'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Raymond was beyond hospitable! He met us at the apartment and took time to go over details. He gave us prior recommendation for our train trip in as well. The apartment is wonderful, bright and spacious. The large windows and high ceilings were stunning. We received a welcome with breakfast necessities get us going. High end appliances and washing machine were convenient. The elevator was useful with the amount of luggage we had to bring up. It is somewhat of a Main Street but the windows blocked much of the sound out. Ideal location for restaurants and grocers. There are many Starbucks close by so you can grab your coffee easily. Overall it was perfect for our family of 4.

Ideal Place to Stay in Glasgow

121West George Street is an ideal place to stay in central Glasgow. The apartment is very comfortable & well equipped. The location is excellent & there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. We were met on arrival by Raymond & he followed up to ensure we did not have any problems. We stayed for 5 days in May 2025 & would highly recommend the apartment.

Perfect!

I doubt there is a better rental available in Glasgow. I only wish we had been able to stay longer! The location of the flat was within walking distance of the train station, shopping, cinema, and almost everything else you could need. It was spacious, full of character, and had a great updated kitchen. Raymond was a generous and helpful host—he added a nice touch to our experience. We will be back!

Home from home in Glasgow

Loveliest most amazing host in Raymond, fab central location in the city and awesomely comfy "home from home". A bit too close to all the great choice of eateries for the waist-line but great for foodies in general. The 5min walk to either Central and Queen St stations and taxi's was so handy for getting around. Highly recommended stay for your next Glasgow stay.

Great Central Glasgow Stay

Wonderful apartment for central Glasgow experience. Close to all amenities and an ideal base for exploring the city. The host Raymond is very helpful, friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated the flowers and breakfast he supplied, and all the items the place is stocked with. We really benefited from his Glasgow guidebooks. It's a noisy environment being in the heart of the city, so BYO earplugs if you're noise sensitive, as we did need them - but that's an easy trade-off for this great spot. We really appreciated the home comforts after long days - ample chairs, cushions, bed linen and towels (and hot water) etc. As self-catering cooks, it was great to have a really lovely kitchen but we would have enjoyed a bit more cookware. The washing machine works well (and there's enough drying racks which is truely rare) but the coffee machine defeated me! The lounge room has nice views out onto the neighbourhood and is comfy. The bathroom is adequate. The main bedroom would benefit from a carpet (it's rather a different style from the rest of the place) while the huge back bedroom has a great vibe and very comfy twin beds. The nineteenth century apartment building is a bit knocked around by age but still a grand dame. Pictures are accurate. This stay was a great start to our holiday in Scotland. Highly recommended.

For me, the 2 big 'pull factors' for this property are (i) location - being where it is, everything Glasgow has to offer is quite literally on your doorstep and (ii) architecture - room size didn't seem to be a problem when our building was built (@ end of the 19th Century) ... our rooms are large.
