A classic Norwegian cabin in the heart of Sunnmøre, home to the Norwegian Alps!

The cabin and annexe have been extensively modernised and refurbished throughout 2022-23, and is fully equipped with all you need to enjoy either a quick getaway, an overnight stop on a longer journey or a longer holiday.

Just 4 minutes walk to the fjord. The forest boasts all kinds of Norwegian wildlife - squirrels, woodpeckers, deer etc. You can be lucky and see the eagles that are nesting close by. Sea otters are sometimes seen if you are very quiet. The fjord is really good for the fisherman/woman. Depending on the season there are plenty of cod, pollock, crab, crayfish and makerel. Sea salmon are rare but possible. Fishing equipment is available to borrow free of charge.

Relax in the log-burning hot-tub after a day exploring the historic city of Ålesund, with its magnificent views from Mt Aksla, museums, restaurants, bars and cafes. Visit the Atlantic Park aquarium, a brand new movie theatre complex, shopping centres, swimming centres, so much to see and do.
