Beautiful Home- Perfect for Entertaining

Large comfortable home in great location with multiple views of the Hudson. Our family had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to Castle in the Sky.

Great House and Great Location

Mark and his wife were great hosts. The house was very unique and a perfect location. The hosts were able to provide plenty of recommendations and were quick to respond.

Excellent choice for a group gathering

Castle in the Sky provided us the perfect setting for our holiday family meet-up (parents, adult daughters, daughter’s partner). It’s an easy walk to downtown Nyack which is charming and has a variety of places to eat. We drove to NYC for the day and it worked well. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Poorly maintained property

I booked this home for my family members who were attending a wedding. The property was so poorly maintained that a couple of them rented a hotel room nearby for the first night and didn't even bother to return for the 2nd night. The problems ranged from non-functioning AC to malfunctioning showers. The property was just not clean.

This guest showed up at 11:30 pm after attending a Wedding. They were loud ;yelling , shouting and laughing it was obvious that they had been drinking and were Drunk ! They woke up my tenants on the 2nd floor. My home as always was professionally cleaned the morning they arrived; it was spotless ! All of the bathrooms have been updated and renovated within the past year; the showers are in Good working order ! One of the AC units tripped a breaker and was quickly reset by my tenants downstairs and was plugged into a different electrical outlet so it wouldn’t trip the breaker again. The review by this guest was written at 3:45 am after he had been drinking at a wedding. ; his accusations are simply not True !

Amazing stay at Castle in the Sky!

We had a fantastic stay at Castle in the Sky! Mark and Jill were incredibly communicative and gracious hosts, from the moment we booked until the end of our trip. We were warmly greeted by Mark upon arrival, which set the tone for a perfect weekend. The house is a true labor of love, with so much thought and care put into every detail. This is a huge, beautifully designed home with stunning views from every angle. The house was spotless, comfortable, and fully decorated for Halloween—my daughter especially loved it! The hosts made sure we had everything we needed, from plush robes and towels for every guest to well-appointed balconies with gorgeous views and ample seating for multiple people. We especially enjoyed the pool table and large-screen TV on the top floor, and every room had comfortable beds and ceiling fans for a perfect night's sleep. The master suite is a dream, complete with its own bath, a heated fan, and a soaking tub. The other guest bedrooms were just as cozy, and having full access to a washer and dryer was a bonus. The natural light that floods the house is beautiful, making every room feel bright and inviting. One of the highlights was my daughter picking a pumpkin from their personal garden—such a sweet and memorable touch! Overall, Castle in the Sky is a gem, and we can't recommend it enough. We look forward to returning!
