The Stardust Room - Wander Inn

The Wanderlust room has a queen size bed with an ornate Spanish carved headboard we’ve stashed away for years waiting for the right home, a vintage leather loveseat, and a set of gold wings on the wall. This is one of our favorite rooms, we used a vintage Spanish headboard that we had been saving for years and other great fleamarket finds. The room is washed in whites and neutrals, and some gold glitter. A set of French doors lead out onto the porch with your own rocking chairs which allows for a perfect view of the sunset and the longhorns. This room has cedar floors throughout, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, the ranch-style corrugated metal shower, rainfall shower head, your own record player, vintage table fan and a mini-fridge. This room is downstairs in the Star House, where you will have a large common living area with 3 other rooms. The great room has cedar floors, a gas fireplace, an American flag that flew over the State Fair of Texas in 1972, our vintage “STAR MOTEL” sign which has been used as the backdrop for numerous photoshoots including Miranda Lambert & Country Living magazine. A large disco ball style chandelier hangs above a large leather sofas and chairs flanking our handcrafted piano coffee table piled high with stacks of books, records and games for your entertainment. There is a common kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We ask that you do not cook in these kitchens are they are not equipped for cooking, but are fine for snacks and drinks. * Pets are not allowed in this room.

Everyone has access to our outdoor areas (65 acres), gas firepits, adirondack chairs, bicycles & stock tank Cowboy Pools!

There is a common kitchenette area with a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. We ask that you do not cook in these kitchens are they are not equipped for cooking, but are fine for snacks and drinks.

Had the best stay at the Stardust Room at Wander Inn in Round Top ✨ Everything was so clean, cozy, and thoughtfully put together—it truly felt like a little home away from home. Check-in was completely seamless, which made arriving stress-free and easy. And the biscuits delivered to the room? SO good and such a special touch 🤍 If you’re planning a trip to Round Top, I couldn’t recommend this spot more. Perfect mix of comfort and charm!

This will be my third time to return to the Wander Inn....this time for my daughter's birthday. She is an avid reader so I knew she would enjoy it. They have a large collection of books and anything you need to unplug and relax. I always find something in Round Top I haven't seen before. Always excellent!
