Charming Coastal Retreat

Hopkins Coastal Cottage is a newly built home that offers incredible charm and a true coastal ambiance, featuring thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The home features roomy interiors, high 10-foot ceilings, crown molding, and many large windows that fill the space with sunlight!

The kitchen is a highlight, boasting marble countertops, a gas stove, and a farm-style sink. An island with seating and high-end appliances makes it a perfect space for meal preparation and gathering.

Both bathrooms also feature marble countertops. The master bath includes a large, free-floating soaking tub, double sinks, and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. And a water closet as a BONUS! The guest bathroom offers a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a sink and convenient access to the main living area. A full, separate laundry room with washer and dryer is located off the kitchen for added convenience.

The home entry is marked by a spacious, quintessential southern screened-in porch with ample seating, including a porch swing. Another screened-in porch off the kitchen leads to the rear detached garage with a grilling area, and the expansive, private yard provides a peaceful retreat.

Just steps away, guests will find a tranquil white sandy beach perfect for relaxation, swimming, and unwinding. A three-minute walk leads to the public beach, which offers fishing, boat launching, and amenities such as showers and restrooms. The beach is dog-friendly, making it ideal for families and pet owners.

Take a leisurely stroll along Beach Blvd. sidewalk to Downtown, located only four blocks away, to enjoy a variety of seafood restaurants, ranging from casual to upscale dining and many fun bars on the beach!

This is our 2nd visit to Hopkins House. It is so open, relaxing, cozy and well equipped....just a perfect getaway. Very short walk to the beach, wonderful for pets, and quiet location. Add Kerry as a hands on, very responsive manager and you have the best place ever! Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay! The house was absolutely immaculate, extremely well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. It was perfectly located both for a very short walk to the beach and an easy walk to the downtown area. The host was very helpful and gracious, with outstanding, prompt communications. I can't think of one thing I'd change about our visit, short of adding another day or two to it. Very highly recommend - these folks are setting the curve!

Great stay!

My two sons and I stayed here as a home base during a golf tournament nearby. We loved the location for quick dinners by golf cart and proximity to the beach for walks and fishing. The house had everything we needed and was spotless, which is really important to me!! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay.. Exactly what you need with great help from gracious host. Adorable two bedrooms. Great kitchen. Loved sitting on the front porch, screened in back porch and great backyard for kids. Also great easy walk to the beach which with kids was fantastic. And great fishing.. Really great overall and will be back.!

Quick weekend getaway

Absolutely loved our stay here! Located on a quiet shady street, but still close to downtown. The cottage is perfect for a family, having all the necessary items for cooking and going to the beach. The screened-in porches were lovely!

We all had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The Hopkins House was everything stated on the VRBO site. The location was excellent and very close to the beach. Our property manager kept in touch to ensure our stay went as planned. We will definitely come back in the future.

Dog friendly

It was refreshing to stay in a dog friendly rental that was spotless and well furnished. The neighbors were friendly and made us feel welcome during the long evenings we spent on the front porch. We’ll be back.

Beautiful spot. House was amazing

We just stayed the weekend but wished longer. House and area was adorable and so quiet. Very comfortable. Loved the screen porches. Loved walkin to beach and down town BSL. The mockingbird cafe for breakfast. Yum.
