Enjoyed Our Stay

Enjoyed our stay for JazzFest 2025. Place was exactly what we needed 
 reasonably priced, comfortable accommodations within walking distance to the fairgrounds and not too far from the French Quarter.Property has a few miles on it since listing photos but it was clean, the beds were comfortable & we had no issues with anything during our 4 nights. I would stay here again.Bonus points for location being close to greenway and Whole Foods. If in the area definitely eat at Flour Moon Bagels & Crescent City Steak House.

Perfect

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. We got married around the corner at the Broadside and this was the perfect location. We love Midcity and this place gave us walkable access to every part of the wedding. The host was responsive and even let me check in early so I could make it to an event on time. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, better location.

Our short visit to New Orleans was made wonderful by our stay here. The townhome was clean and tidy, with lots of extra amenities to make our stay more comfortable. The location was outstanding, just a short drive to Market, Frenchmen, and Bourbon streets. We felt safe and comfortable for the entirety of our stay. Thank you!

Very good value and location

The property is recently renovated and comfortable. It's in a good location, within walking distance to Whole Foods and a green belt. We were able to walk to the French Quarter in about 30 minutes. The front door faces a busy street, but with the AC running, it was quiet for sleeping.

perfect for Zulu!

this was the perfect place for Mardi Gras day. super convenient and easy to get to all parts of the city. Lloyd was a great host who was very responsive to my questions. i’ll definitely be booking for 2025!

Eras tour stay

Enjoyed my stay at this property. Parking is unfortunate because it’s on the street but it is clearly listed so I knew that ahead of booking. Everything was clean and ready for our visit upon arrival and communication was a breeze though not needed once we received check in information because everything was in perfect condition. I felt safe in the neighborhood though the walls are pretty thin and you can hear the neighbors and other outside noises.

You get what you pay for

Pros: 2 lockable doors when you come in.This place is walkable to the French quarter (30mins) and Parkway bakery (15mins). The owner was very responsive.Cons: When we arrived there was moldy laundry in the washer. The handle falls off in the shower. The handle to the bathroom door.

Clean, cute, safe.

Communication and check in/out was great and easy. Property had street parking directly in front. Front door had great safety features. Everything was cute and clean. Great stay! Short drive to French quarter and other areas. Whole Foods and convenient store around the corner!

Mardi Gras Weekend!!!

Overall, pretty decent for what we needed it for. It was about a half hour walk to everywhere so Lyft made it a bit easier at the end of the weekend. The store down the street charges you 41 to walk in and out of it so that’s the only reason location and neighborhood got 4 stars. Alerted the property manager of a couple issues (for constructive criticism sake) but it beats a hotel any day of the week. Much appreciation to them for letting us stay and being so helpful!

Short and Sweet

My stay was delightful and totally unexpected for the money and location. The amount of things to see and do within walking distance is phenomenal. If you are not a person who likes to walk, there is always the Uber option or the trolley which is only a few blocks over less than a 8 minute walk. I enjoyed my entire stay and my communication with my host was consistent as I needed it to be. Thanks again for a safe and enjoyable stay. I would definitely use this location again for the ease of being in Mid City and having some great food options and things to do in the area.

Short stay

Ok place to stay. It is not four full areas for adults the trundle bed is small and challenging in the room it’s in. Area was ok, but would not walk especially at night. Loud, as it is VERY close to very busy street front, and a bus stop immediately at the front door.

Good to fair

House was very nice. The neighborhood was a little scary. New Orleans is prone to flooding, however the street where the house is located flooded morenthan the surrounding streets due to how much lower it is. We were concerned that we might need to evacuate and reachout to the manager to get some feedback regarding the risk of staying and did not get a response. We did parked our suv on the mediun, just like everyine else on the street and had to wade knee deep water to get to the house. Everything else about our stay was great.

Unexpected

Once entering the property I noticed front door rug was not vacuumed then I noticed the wall had sheetrock pieces falling on the floor as I went to bedroom. Rug under the foot of bed was dirty so I preceded to unmake the bed and the pillows was strain and has I removed the sheets the mattress was stained as well. So I caught a uber to walmart to get things we needed to make this work. The tub drain was draining slow. Open refrigerator someone left a old bag of open ice. The only good thing was location the house has potential but need better housekeeping

One nice room, one very tiny

First thing I noticed was lots of hairs on my sheets/pillow cases/ comforter and some stains. So I went to change them and couldn’t find any sheets that didn’t have stains or smelled mildew. So I had to wash the comforter and sheets in fragranced laundry detergent. I suggest you replace the sheets and only use fragrance free products because a lot of people are sensitive to those chemicals that are mostly banned outside of the US. The room itself and bathroom/kitchen were nice. The second bedroom was extremely small, definitely not a setup for two-4 adults. More for parents and one child. Our first Uber drive was kind of scary, just a block away from the Vrbo a car was blasting their horn at us got really close to the car screamed something about a gun out the window. Not a great intro to our trip. So the area I wouldn’t say is the best. Though had no issues after that.

Bad Experience

Where to start? Usually you will get some check in information prior arrival time. We leave Houston to New Orleans and i msg the host that we are on our way and his response was "check in is at 4 pm, I will send info then" that was already rude. We get to the place and it was not the "modern 2 bedroom townhome" it was a very outdated duplex home" first thing you hear is the people on the other side of the wall. We do an inspection we find curtains dirty wiyh stains, bedsheets dirty and smelly, hair on mattress and pillows, stove greasy. sitting space was a tiny smelly sofa amd 2 broken stools. Our son and wife arrived and they tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. We contact the host and ask for an immediate solution, he ask to run the water at the kitchen faucet but he didnt mention he was on his way, we decide to just go to sleep, so i get a call almost midnight and he said he was outside and of course for our safety we were not going to open the door at that time of the night. We finally go to sleep to find out there was no heater, we were so cold thst my son and wife had to go to their car to turn on their heater and warmed up. At this point thr only thing we wanted to leave. We msg the host and ask to at least refund one night and rhat we were leaving, he never responded after that.d his response
