The heating was not working properly and the house was constantly cold, we had to open the kitchen oven for some extra heat. The water currents in the showers was trickling in both showers. it was hard for 6 ppl to take showers like this. There were lady bugs walking on the walls in every room. some of them were falling onto the mattresses, and my daughter would not sleep in a bed because of that.

We arrived to a pretty blue house surrounded by snow with a Christmas tree lit inside! The layout was unique. The owner was quick to respond. She was kind when I suggested a safety suggestion. Liked the restaurants in the area and thought it was a great location. Would definitely love to go back and hopefully bring the family pets!

Berkshire vacation

Very cozy and comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms a good size with comfortable mattresses. The deck and the yard were lovely. This location is gem!

Winter break

Heating system in house problematic . Batteries in digital thermometer were not working and needed to be replaced . Necessitated us purchasing new batteries . Snow and ice upon arrival , no snow shovel available to clear path or deck . Properly was cleaned the next day by property management . Otherwise house was fairly comfortable.

Family Christmas weekend trip

Beautiful house in a quiet location. Perfect for our trip to go see The Norman Rockwell museum , Stockbridge Christmas holiday lights only about 25 minutes away.

Very Nice

Clean and comfortable. Beautiful back yard. On a quiet street. Window air conditioners added to our comfort on our few hot days. Would've enjoyed having some furniture on the deck. Loved being the Berkshires again!

Airy and spacious inside and outside

We spent a long weekend in this wonderful home on Pool Hill Rd in New Lebanon. Huge back yard, a well-lit deck, apple trees, wildlife, birdsong. The living areas are large and airy - you'll want to take the kitchen home with you when you leave. All three bedrooms are pleasantly spacious. Every room was well air conditioned and individually controlled - AC was important to us as the weather was hot, sultry and uncomfortable all weekend. High marks for cleanliness, organization, linens, wifi, appliances and other household finishings. The local restaurant, Mario's, is a must for at least one evening meal. But our highest rating goes to our host Amanda and her brother Paul who did absolutely everything for us in our short time there - we did not feel like renters, we felt like guests.

Overall it was a great experience. There was a power outage due to weather. Half the stay we had no power or water. They may want to invest in a generator. We made itit an adventure.

Cute house, well maintained and equipped but a bit too quiet and town

House was great! Very clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed the fire pit out back in the evening. We cooked a nice dinner on the grill and enjoyed a wonderful family event. Owner was very responsive to all questions. One issue with a missing room air conditioner was acknowledged and they worked to fix it. Our only issue was the lack of many amenities nearby. We didn’t realize how rural it was. If you would like a quiet away destination it was perfect!

The Perfect Getaway!

A wonderful, well-appointed & comfy home nestled in Berkshire foothills within in striking distance of Tanglewood & Williamstown museums and Hancock Shaker Village and a marvelous Italian restaurant (Mario's) nearby, family run for over 62 years!!! Great Stay in the Berkshires!

We were looking for a place near Tanglewood that we could have 4 adults and a kiddo. This was great - in fact, my mom mentioned how she couldn’t believe how clean it was. House is older but very functional and easy to settle in. The home had everything you could need - very organized and tidy. Amanda was great - my only suggestion is to pull up the check info before arriving (I couldn’t get cell coverage at the door). Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Clean and comfortable house with lots of character 15 minutes away from Jimini Peak. Watch your head on the stairs and beware of a few ladybugs. Family of 5 had a great weekend hiking, skiing, eating and drinking. Would rent again.

Good stay

My husband and I stayed here with another couple and our dog for New Years Eve weekend. We had a great time hanging out playing games at the house and cooking meals together. The house was very clean and Amanda was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to our questions. The house was minimalist and on the older side. Overall a good stay.

We we only there for 2 nights for a family funeral. The house was clean, and comfortable, and after a small issue with the house, when checking in, Amanda immediately made everything right! Beautiful area!
