Staying at Cedar Glen at Cedar park is a unique experience. It would be considered by most as a private cabin getaway on a beautiful creek. We provide local artisans soaps and roasted coffee. We are nestled in the shadow of Mt. Hood with a quick 36 mile drive. Surrounded by local restaurants and wineries.
We stayed for two nights and the house was the perfect place for us to rest after exploring some hiking trails. Its cozy, definitely rustic but thats what gives it its charm. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the creek. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a woodsy cabin tucked by a creek
It was as it described, rustic and relaxing. Nice place for our family of 4 to hang out and visit all the local attractions in both directions (Hood and Columbia Gorge).
The stay was rustic and relaxing as described. Really enjoyed the deck and creek out back. It might have been a little more challenging if we had brought our children, but worked well for my wife and I.
We only spent one night but we were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings. This place was quiet and peaceful and very comfortable for our little family. We would stay again!
Our family had a great time while we were staying here. The place was nice and clean. We had everything there. The view of the creek was awesome. My kids were so excited. The location was great, close to everything. We just got rainy day for the most journey. Thank You!
Beautiful forest and creek. Our stay was nice, beds were comfortable. The toilet is on a platform and a struggle if you have mobility issues and if you are a larger person. The Owner was great at checking in on us.
The place was great. Photos did make the house seem a little larger but it was still perfect for the 5 of us! We had a little issue with messages not sending which made the check-in process a little tricky but nothing a phone call couldnât fix! Beautiful area super relaxing and close by enough to neighbors to feel safe.
A good property but some challenges in obtaining the lock box key code before I had to leave home for the property. The facility was clean and neat but lacked window shades or blinds so lacked privacy in that respect. The toilet was a unique situation in sitting above the floor on a raised platform which created some challenges in making use of it. The shower worked well but the hot water handle needed some fancy gyrations to get it to shut off properly. However, it was a pleasant setting and for our purpose worked well.
We were only at the house for one night. It was clean and tidy. The creek out back was relaxing and the patio area in the front yard was hospitable. The host was friendly.
The bathroom is a quirky experience-- my first elevated porcelain throne!
The place and the land it was on was beautiful and relaxing. It made a great home base for my bachelor party weekend with a couple friends. The creek is fun to watch and the pellet stove is a lifesaver when it gets cold. The host was communicative and very nice and the provisions at the house such as coffee tea etc. were generous and high quality. Iâd give it 10 stars if I could! Thanks for providing the perfect place for a great weekend, I will be coming back with my soon to be wife.
We enjoyed being in the mountains, the home really is nestled in right next to a lovely mountain stream.
We liked that our host had teas there for us to enjoy, I never did find the melamine dishes for the kids though.
There were several unfun smells throughout the house, like mildew in the air when I turned on the AC unit and cat urine in the pantry area that I would smell in random places as well (I did see one stray wandering around the neighborhood).
It definitely wasn't a good spot for us to have our kids (ages 1-5), there was decor that they kept reorganizing and a lot of items we had to put away from them which is always tiring when we go to check out.
