Yes, stair climbing is required to enter and exit the home (approximately two steps)

Guests have access to the entire unit, designated fire pit and picnic table!

Sunset Vacation Rentals is fully staffed with a property manager, housekeeping staff and maintenance crew.

All guest receive 10% off Sunset Taxi services when picked up from a Sunset Vacation Rental property. Private tours are also available to visit local attractions and wineries.

Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay.

**There are 2 total units on site, all rented to vacationing guests. All entrances and spaces are private with the exclusion of the property beach. **

• Pet owners – please refrain from allowing pets on furniture or bedding.
• Please clean up after your pet(s), both indoors and in the yard.
• Put any and all trash bags in the can outside.
• Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee and can result in immediate eviction. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.
• Please note, this home is near Lake Erie, so you may encounter outdoor insects like spiders or mosquitoes. Refunds will not be issued due to area insects.

There was a spider issues and some dusting out side and under furniture would help. The stairs down to the lake are not lit up at night which is a big safety issue. Otherwise the house was decent!

Girls Weekend Away

The house was clean and the view of the water was great! This location is great walking distance to the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip. Decent location for our winery tour as well. Only negative aspect I would say is the overall crowd on Saturday night was a bit sketchy. We called it a night early and just enjoy our evening back at the house with friends.

61st Anniversary Celebration

We treated our parents to a not so faraway short little getaway to celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for my 80+ year old parents to navigate. They enjoyed the view from the porch and nearby wineries. My siblings and I also enjoyed the walking distance bars and restaurants and our dog enjoyed the park. Win win for all of us! Thank you! Would just advise people to write down door code and not rely on internet service prior to connecting to wi-fi. That was our only “blip” but called the number for Sunset Vacations and they got us situated l. 👍 Thank you!!

Storm damage

There was a storm the house had no power and screen damage. The rental emailed me but I did not have time to check email. Since I did not respond the agency texted me however I did not get the text until we arrived after over a 3 hour road trip. Told by company charged the full price if we stayed but no power. We left and drove another over 3 hours home. My daughter said over 400 miles and back where we started. This was for my 72 birth day what a sad day. I understand emergencies but there should be a written protocol for how to handle these situations. Rental agency seemed lost as what to do. Such as call the involved people.

Cathy, We initially contacted you via the VRBO platform (standard practice) prior to 9am on the date of your arrival. The storm occurred the night prior and we alerted you as soon as the power restoration time was estimated for several days after your stay. We then sent a text in the afternoon around 1pm as a courtesy when we noticed that you did not respond. The area experienced a severe storm with widespread power outages and damages. Due to the extreme damages to the homes, the screens for screened in front porch were not a top priority hours after the storm. You were issued a full refund for the stay that was hindered due to the severe weather. We did not appreciate the constant and excessive text messages demanding your funds back as we have no control over the bank processing times or the weather. Sunset Vacation Rentals
