Beach Cottage moderne avec cour privée, concept ouvert 2 br / 1 BA Montanita / Olon

Ce chalet de plage moderne se trouve juste que vous entrez dans le village pittoresque de Olon, juste une promenade de 3 minutes en taxi à Montanita. Situé à Cabanas de Olon, une communauté privée fermée 2 pâtés de maisons de la plage, cet endroit paisible est une escapade merveilleuse proche de tout. Il suffit de traverser la route et descendre le chemin deux blocs pour arriver à cette étonnante déserte bordée de palmiers plage de surf.

Le chalet de concept ouvert aéré dispose de deux chambres, chacune avec nouveau climatiseur fendu pour vous garder confortablement dormir après votre journée à explorer la plage. Chaque chambre est aménagée avec un lit queen size, tables de chevet et lampes de table. Un couloir dispose d'un placard supplémentaire pour le stockage supplémentaire. Le salon a de hauts plafonds en bambou vêtus, Lucarne, canapé en coupe, un centre multimédia avec télévision et lecteur DVD, et de superbes vues sur le jardin et la terrasse à l'avant. Les fenêtres rempli caractéristiques de cuisine ouverte et tous les outils pour préparer votre fête, y compris une préparation et salle île, évier, réfrigérateur, cuisinière, micro-ondes, et bien sûr une machine à café!

Extérieur, profiter d'un repas sur la terrasse de la terrasse avec vue que vous mangez vers les couchers de soleil sur l'océan. A côté de la maison et donnant sur votre jardin privé, d'un patio salon complet avec des hamacs vous attendent sous un dais ombragée avec vue sur bambou, fleurs, arbres fruitiers et de palmiers. Sur la face arrière de la propriété se trouve un grand espace pour le stationnement. Sur la communauté motifs bénéficient d'une piscine privée et communautaire, l'assistance du tuteur / jardinier, et beaucoup de paix et de calme.


Juste à côté de la Ruta del Sol, se promener dans les matins à la boulangerie pour certaines pâtisseries fraîches, ou simplement traverser la rue pour l'épicier. Ne noter - ce gîte est pas dans le centre de Montanita, mais juste un couple (3) minutes en taxi si vous le souhaitez. Cela rend son l'endroit idéal pour avoir la vie privée et votre propre plage pour profiter quand vous voulez vous détendre, plus un joli petit village de boutiques un des restaurants à proximité - par - et le super bonus de pouvoir faire l'expérience de la variété de la nourriture, boutiques, des bars et des équipements Montanita a ainsi. Les légumes frais et les produits du marché sont disponibles dans le marché de localk côté de la rue et descendre un bloc. Comme bien et peuvent également être achetés directement à partir de l'arrière o agriculteurs pick-ups comme ils roulent à travers la ville le matin. Matin mi - trouver la prise quotidienne sur la plage - ou saisir ce qui semble mieux rouler par pêcheur sur leur vélo - prêt à filet comme vous le souhaitez. Surfiing, se prélasser, repas, randonnée, shopping, massage, piscine, équitation .... son tout ici et attendent d'être découverts.

Olon Home

We stayed here for almost 2 months. Love it. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed. Walking to beach, stores, restaurants. Olon is a great little beach town. Easy to get a taxi to go other places. We will be back to Olon sometime and hopefully stay in this house. Thank you!!

Loved this house and pool!

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay here, the cottage was extremely clean, super stylish, quiet and comfy. The pool was our kids favorite- we stayed in the pool in the evenings, and sometimes used a smaller individual pool that's at the house and you can fill with the hose in the yard. The ac in the bedrooms was great and powerful enough to cool the whole cottage when we wanted to.The kitchen was a huge plus for us, and it was very clean and even the dishes were nice-everything we needed was there- even a blender to make smoothies. The sofa is super long with lots of pillows and there was plenty of space for us to lounge and watch movies on the dvd player in the evenings- you can buy movies in town for $2 in English. We picked passion fruit that had fallen from the vine each morning to make fresh juice, and walked to the bakery in the mornings to buy fresh bread. ( there are some chickens and a rooster that come to forage for bugs in the yard in the morning.. My kids loved that) . Urbano helped us when we had to re-light the gas for hot water, and it was nice to have someone on the property and made us very comfortable. We will definitely be back, for this cottage in particular. Not crowded at the beach, town, or in this little group of cottages.

There's Better

I really can’t say anything good about this rental. The house has been neglected for years. Two large sofas are unusable being the frames are broken. All the cushion fabric is splitting and the foam is what you have left. The windows will not lock. Glassware is really minimal, no hammocks, no water dispenser, AC non functional due to missing batteries, broken lamps, missing bulbs, broken blender container (with tape on it). I could go on. Along with the years of neglect, there has been no needed improvements. It is really not that comfortable to hang out during the day. You use it to sleep, not to party, not to relax, not to socialize. Sitting arrangements are at a minimum. Oh, and they will tell you they will get things handled immediately – which never happens. Then they go into excuse mode. You can do better in Olon.

Good location, but needs some attention!

We very much enjoyed our visit to Olon. Lovely little community. We got to know several of the restaurant owners and bakers. The beach is clean and not very busy while we were there. However, our accommodation left something to be desired. This unit needs some major cleaning, and lots of TLC. The screen doors don't work. The blinds in the kitchen don't roll up. Several of the windows either didn't open or the screen didn't fit. Yes, you have a coffee pot - but no toaster, no cork screw and no jug - in Ecuador, where milk is sold in plastic bags! There is no stand for the large blue water jugs, and the blender leaks and is unusable. The kitchen is very basic. The burners on the stove don't always work, and we had to unplug it when not using it, as the ignitor kept clicking, which was a little unnerving. 2 out of 4 pieces of patio furniture were broken. Light bulbs missing, the lamps were pretty scary to use, and fortunately we only used one bedroom cause the batteries for the air conditioner remote in the other room were dead. We were there in the rainy season, but good for us that they haven't been getting much rain because the roof leaks in both the bedroom and the living room. Urbano, the caretaker, is very friendly and as helpful as he can be without speaking any English. We found a local restaurant owner who would call Urbano and explain what was needed when we couldn't figure things out without language. And don't blame the caretaker for the state of the unit - this place needs the owner's care and attention. This was our last stop in Ecuador, and maybe because the rest of our accommodations were great, we expected things to at least be in working order and clean. Water is an issue in many of the communities along the coast. Olon responds to the lack of water by turning the water off from 1-6pm and 1-6am. Manage this by saving water in pails to use for washing and toilets.

The Getaway

Spent 5 nights at the house with 2 kids. The house is in a gated community and a 10 minute walk to the beach and central Olon. It was a great, relaxing, getaway for my family. Everything was a short walking distance, Montanitas a 5 minute cab ride, and the beach in Olon is far superior than the one in Montanitas - more family orientated and far more restaurants to chose from. Beds were great, house very clean, outside hangout adequate, very quiet and secure, pool area nice. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice, affordable place to hang out on the beach without the cacophony of Montanitas.

Pleasant stay

The cottage is one of the in total 12 cottages in this small gated community. It lies just outside the small town of Olon and 5 min by car ir bus from Montañita. Olon's beach is one of the prettiest of this area and Montañita is the busiest town (many Bart, restaurants, etc.). The gated community is tranquil and has a small but nice swimming pool. The cottage is confortable, 2 very nice bedrooms with A/C, an adequete bathroom, hot water wasn't available but you won't miss that during this time of the year, kitchen had all supplies needed, like described. There is no cable tv or internet, just a television with a dvd player. The breakfasts and drinks on the deck we liked very much. The owners don't live in the area, but the guard is friendly and able to help if you ask him. Alyson is quick in answering, and very helpful. We liked our stay, and could recommend this place to couples or small families.

Will stay here again!!!

The property was very nice and we felt secure with it being in a gated community. We met a few of the people living there permanently and they were also very nice. The house was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The ceiling fans and air-conditioning units were very nice to have since the temperatures did rise considerably while we were there. The outdoor living area was a nice bonus. The owners quick response and attention to our needs was wonderful. It is a great location for a beautiful more private beach than Montanita, yet close enough (taxi ride only $1.50) to go there for dining out and shopping as well as the night life. Hi, We are the Blum family! My husband Gustavo is from Ecuador and Costa Rica, and I am from San Diego. We met in California and then spent two years living in Costa Rica and Ecuador. We loved our time at the beach in the Olon area most of all, and decided that we really wanted a place to call our own and to return to with our young kids when we visit family in Gauyaquil. we have many friends in the complex, we love our neighbors, and the many kind families living in Olon. Above all, we adore the beach and the food.

We wanted a spot where we could easily walk to the beach, but that was still surrounded by nature and open space. we purchased two lots so we could have a yard that was our own for spending lots of time outdoors. We have also enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with having a caretakers family always onsite, and we appreciate the shared community atmosphere of our international neighbors. Some of the cabanas are owned by folks from Chile, Canada, Ecuador, Switzerland, and the United States.

We were able to design the home as we built it from scratch, so we chose higher ceilings and more open spaces than is traditional in Ecuador. The windows are absurdly large for Ecuador, but since I am from California I love the sunlight. The onsite pool is really divine after a nice adventure or a long day at the beach. We usually stay in the pool until the sun goes down.
