Private estate with ~1,500 feet of frontage on Little Blanco River (usually dry due to drought). Oversized windows look onto the ancient oak forest, with 20 acres of private hiking. Lavish pool & jacuzzi, large patio with fire pit and barbecue for outdoor dining under large tree canopy. 3 private bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom, plus bonus room (off the master room) with triple bunk for kids or adults. Additional pull out queen sofa bed and an extra bathroom. Quiet, exclusive and peaceful!

Grant, our Host, was responsive and engaging from the onset . . . I had questions leading up to our stay which he always thoroughly addressed. One of my questions was if the kitchen was stocked with a slow cooker . . . He said there wasn’t but that he would be happy to purchase one for the kitchen. I consider his offer going above and beyond expectations! Once my family and I arrived, we had several questions throughout the five days during our stay in Grant’s beautiful vacation home and he was always readily available and helpful. My group consisted of four adults and five children . . . The home accommodated us perfectly and the large, well appointed in-suite bathrooms made the experience very comfortable. Also, having a crib, high chair, child-friendly utensils, children books and toys was a huge added benefit. I asked my grandchildren their favorite experience during our stay and their responses included “making somemores”, “swimming”, “playing in the fort”, “feeding the horses” all of which were part of the amenities. Grant’s wonderful home was perfect for my family’s gathering but it would be a great house for bachelor gatherings and girl trips!

Great House, Pool & Texas Hill Country Views

We were 11 adults and 2 children here for a week in June 2025. The house has a great flow (but will comfortably sleep only 6 adults and 3 kiddos in beds). The pool and pool area is super nice. Managing the pool is made easy thanks to the owner. We were off the beaten path, but we thoroughly enjoyed the rugged Hill Country terrain (know you are 15 minutes from anything). You are centrally located to all the Hill Country towns. (We all really enjoyed the Exotic Zoo Resort in nearby Johnson City and shopping in nearby Wimberley.) Another big plus to this house is all three bedrooms have their own ensuites. Lots of beautiful sunny views from inside. Air conditioning, hot water and water pressure were all awesome. Fridge area (side-by-side) is small, so plan to bring ice chest for a'ddl cold space if staying more than a few nights.

Peaceful pool

We absolutely had the best time! There were a few issues with previous renters breaking things and the owner was very quick to respond and fix the issues. We greatly appreciated all they did to make our stay perfect! The house was beautiful and very clean. Nice beds and very peaceful area.

Second time to stay was consistently good as first time!

This was our second vacation trip to this house, we were very happy that the quality of cleanliness was on par to the first time. It seems professionally cleaned. Communication with homeowner was responsive. We all enjoyed our stay!

Great place, remote with all the comfort

The house is located on the end of the road, which give the property nice privacy. There’s a dry creek behind the property too which makes it private and serene. Great for walking around. The pool is nice and clean. Very modern. Each bedroom has a private en suite. Nice high ceilings. The homeowner was very nice and quick to respond.
